Truro, Pensagillas Park

Lovely campsite with views across to the other farms fields & cows. Have just spent 2 weeks camping at this site and the only thing that let the 2wks down was the 6 days of rain, but we stuck it out! The campsite to our surprise and delight was very quite with only one other tent in the field when we arrived. Others did follow during the 2 weeks and everyone had enough space to be friendly with each other but at the same time have their own space. Fields were kept tidy with the grass being cut approx 3 times whilst we were there. Toilets & showers were kept clean and I found that the washing machine & driers were good value for money.

The owner is in the process of building a new shop/reception,washing up, toilets and shower area which is a little bit more central then the current one......Feel that not all the new facilities will be ready for this year though.

The location of the site is good with Lands End being the furthest away and just over an hours drive.

Do however feel that there could be a little more for the kids to do, although there is a big trampoline for them....We did not take any kids with us this time! For adults this is the perfect place for peace and quite if this is what you are looking for.

Please note that we did go to the site between 08/07/2011 & 24/07/2011 so most of the kids were not on school holidays.

Will try and get back if I can get my husband to go camping again :o)

The Pensagillas Park campsite is in an excellent location. Fantastic views of the Cornish Countryside. Well run family facility. Excellent hot showers, very clean toilets, good food, good course fishing.

If you are looking for good facilities and a warm carring welcome, peace and quiet then this is the place for you!
