Sunnyside Holidays, Newquay

Although it was way back in the summer of 1998, I still think this campsite is worthy of a review. As a group of 18 year old lads, we had such a laugh. The campsite is really geared for 16-18 year olds, who for most, were tasting their first summer of freedom away from their parents!

The site itself was pretty basic. You could either hire a large tent, or bring your own. For those that wanted to, you could hire your own static caravan. Wash facilities were basic, but served their purpose. All prices were reasonable.

Cooking consisted of a gas hob, and that was about it. We had our own transport so took regular trips into Newquay which was nice.

Location wise, this campsite was perfect. You're practically on the beach, and from memory, there was a bus shuttle service which ferried you to and from the clubs at night. A lot of fun was had by all... and lots of very funny memories from Sunnyside!
