Had A Terrible Experience At Seaview International

Had a terrible experience at Seaview International at the end of July 2010.

Took a pitch 50m from the main toilet block and was subjected to a loud radio broadcast all night from same block. Got up and closed the doors and windows myself at 2am.

Complained at first opportunity, when we checked out, they denied problem because music volume was timed. She refused to look into the enquiry because we had taken 2 days to complain. A check with the Head of Maintenance confirmed that a temporary staff member had set the timer wrongly and that this had been reported to the office the next day.

They still refused to acknowledge the problem or apologise for the inconvenience, and forced me to write a letter. Needless to say, no reply, apology or compensation of any of 50 Pounds per night, expensive for a tent in an all night disco!!

Having Visited The Park Before I Was Disapointed T

Having visited the park before I was disapointed to find standards had slipped from previous visits. This was an excellent site and one I had recommended to many other people.

Staff cutbacks meant the toilets and general up keep were well below the 5 star rating and well below what I had become used to from previous visits. The management were unfriendly and did not act upon customer complaints or even welcome any feedback from regular visitors.

The park is on a downward slide and the most obvious concern is to turn a profit at the expense of customer satisfaction.

Where Do I Start? If You Think You Are Going To Th

Where do I start? If you think you are going to this campsite to have a great time, think again.

On booking it took two weeks and my friend contacting them to actually give me confirmation. A time of booking they asked if I would like a confirmation email - I have yet to receive it!

The road into the park are unbelievably tight and I was travelling in a car. Extremely dangerous and tourers beware.

On arrival, I found the receptionist staff very unfriendly and unhelpful and I had to wait 3 hours for my pitch to be ready, was told to wait in early arrivals and someone would come and tell me when the pitch was available, again I had to do it myself as no one came to advise.

As for the facilities, they were apparently 5 star but I don't believe it. The toilets and shower blocks were disgusting and smelly, there was no clubhouse and it was advertised as being on the beach which was a 20 minute walk away down a very steep hill.

Was staying with my partner and my daughter and several other friends everyone being extremely disappointed.

There is a local shop but the major supermarket was a 20 minute drive away so be prepared before you go.

Finally, I must point out that I believe the site owner is a very difficult person to talk to and doesn't know the meaning of the word 'fun'.

I seriously believe this park should be avoided at all costs.
