Cheshire, Wrenbury, Belmont Villa

Well we did visit this site on the 9-11 April 2010,Norman the owner was very helpful and friendly, the site was very much to our liking - quiet and friendly, as a boat owner myself the canal boat owners were again friendly.

Facilities included water and E.H.U. although your will need a 50 mtr extension lead, 2 pubs quite close and plenty of activity around the lift bridge. A shop in the village 1/2 mile away stocks major essentials. All in all a very pleasant weekend we will definately go again. Pegasus

Belmont Villa itself is not really geared towards Camping. It is more a peaceful, 'out of the way' caravan site. Electrical hook up is available but at some points you may be upto 50 metres clear of the point. Fresh water is available and Norman who owns the site is friendly and most helpful. The site is also allows pets. You can sit outside your caravan and watch the canal boats pass while listening too undisturbed silence only broken by the wildlife. A very short walk from the site is all the ammenities required for pleasant evening works or a meal, maybe just sitting by the canal sampling a pint of Robinsons best. The price per night is superb and I had a wondeful May bank holiday weekend. I wish I was back there now, but no doubt I'll return soon.
