I Am A 45 Year Old Women Managed To Put This Up In

I am a 45 year old women managed to put this up in a total of 40 minutes start to finish with my 16year old son, we have had several holidays in this and its as good as new, i would recommend this to any family, living space is amazing we take a blow up sofa to sit on luxury. find it very heavy when packed but then there is a lot of tent. would have preferred a sewn in ground sheet.

My Partner Erected The Gelert Satellite 6 All On H

My partner erected the Gelert Satellite 6 all on his when my back went without any difficulty - he's a skinny 5.10" nearing his 60s. Felt like living in a palace it is so roomy. Love the compartments and the huge awning and the small size the whole thing packs into. I couldn't lift it packed but then I have problems walking sometimes.

The Gelert Satellite 6 DLX is a massive tent with ample room, access points and ventilation. Erecting isn't too much of a problem - but you need two adults. 2 Fibre glass poles sheered along the length during the first outing in very windy/stormy weather. Would be better if alloy poles are used to add to strength and also reduce weight. All in all, a great value tent (£120)

Overall I Like This Tent, For The Price It Is Exce

Overall I like this tent, for the price it is excellent. Camped in April in North of Scotland, took a battering from wind and rain but no problem. Stood up to thunderstorm and a gale in Czech Republic and a torrential downpour in Vienna. Taking it to Devon this year so that might be the real test!

1. I found it quite difficult to erect - due to unclear instructions, poor fit of components, and I reckon just poor design. 2. Appalling durability. Two anchor points for sleeping compartment groundsheets ripped out as being staked out - pulled taught but not ridiculously so. This rendered it largely useless after first erection in garden. Sale item so no return. My last tent 3 man lightweight from Ultimate, had for 25 years and all round Europe numerous times, good as the day it was bought till lost poles. Gelert total rubbish.
