We Arrived At Wooler And Was Allocated A St David
We arrived at Wooler and was allocated a St David caravan (175) which I guess was under 6 months old. The caravan was a superior one and had everything you wanted fridge/freezer, double oven, flat screen TV with DVD etc and even a small en-suite in the master bedroom. The caravan was also fully central heated. It was far better than I expected having read the reports and the caravan was extremely clean. Our electric tripped on the last night and after a quick call to security they were around within minutes and had it sorted. We did not use the pub, pool etc on site, but the kids parks were good. We would certainly consider this place again and it is well located for sightseeing. We went to Bamburgh, Morpeth, Ford/Etal and Berwick Upon Tweed. We would go again based on this visit.

Have Been Going To Wooler For The Past 9 Years. Al
Have been going to Wooler for the past 9 years. Always loved every minute of it especially the entertainment in the family clubroom. NOT this year however. My family and I went at Whit as we always have done and this year the entertainment was almost non-existent. There was a pathetic attempt at entertaining by some DJ who was completely out of his depth. Bingo was run illegally (no info given on sales etc. and rules regarding claims broken). I attempted to complain to the Manager and was basically told if you don't like it don't come back. So he will get his way as I will not be going back. On returning home I wrote a letter explaining my disappointment to the Head of Customer Services, The General Manager of North Dales Leisure who own the Park and the Managing Director and I have yet to receive an acknowledgement! I have been in touch with friends who own caravans on the site and it would appear the situation has got progressively worse over the season. It is such a shame as the park is in the middle of some of the loveliest scenery in the British Isles and has many lovely places to visit close by. However for my family and me the entertainment was a very important part of our holiday and to have little for adults or children was very disappointing. There were some cabaret acts which were good but they were treated with equal disregard by the management as were the guests! The attitude of the managers and company owners is one of total disregard for their customers, so this one and her family will not be returning.

The Location Of Riverside Holiday Park Next To The
The location of Riverside Holiday Park next to the river over the little bridge is lovely. The camp staff were very friendly and helpful. The location near the coast is fantastic for enjoying places like Banburgh and Alnwick.
We popped into Scotland a few times and explored the coast all the way up. We intend to go again later inthe year.
