Woolacombe Bay, Woolacombe Bay Park

We booked this site particularly for the caravan sea views, the swimming pool and the short walk to the beach. We actually left after two days as we were so disappointed. The 'sea view' was a side sea view over the top of and in between the camp buildings. The swimming pool was smaller than anticipated and was very basic. The 1/4 hour walk to the beach involved a very steep climb back so we were reluctant to do this a second time. We are disappointed as the site did not point out these facts when booking. Yes we could use the other sites and use the bus however, we felt that the other sites were no better for us and the bus was an hour round trip. The site was maintained okay and the caravan was clean and presentable but I would not recommend this site.
