Caravan Damp
We got in 2 our caravan early which was great! But in all fairness I know you don't expect it to be the ritz! We originally we were meant 2 get a 2 bedroom deluxe caravan. But they said we can up grade you 2 a 3 bed which didn't bother us but like every 1 has said caravan basic dirty in places 2 shame really as can put people going bk there! As for camp site itself was lovely camp site and woodland area n very quiet all staff were really kind 2. In terms off the oasis bar that shut at 10 which 4 a camp site as you are on holiday aswell was a bit early and that's the only place you can get wifi 2. In terms off wifi think the camp should have this if people do won't 2 use it as signal was rubbish. The shop was really good had everything 2 get u buy. I would go bak but hopeing for better n cleaner caravan also there was only I wall socket in bigger room and none in the small rooms which is weird! But caravans do need 2 b better.

Dirty And Damp
1 read some of the reviews but they must have gone to a diffrent site then me and my wife went to.The caravan was dity, damp, the mattresses were dity, and the springs trying to break out of the cover,we are so glad we were only there for 4nights, the sitting was so dity,it looked to us that the camp never as the caravans inspecked, we owned a caravan on a site for a few years and had it been a state this was we would never been allowed to let it out. The toilet was so small you had job to sit down, and i am small,no were to wash your hands. THINK FIRST

Mouldy, Damp Caravan, Damp Bedding And A Mattress
Mouldy, damp caravan, damp bedding and a mattress with springs that you could see through the top..........
Funstars were rude and unfriendly, Becky was very rude and Autumn was very unenthusiastic.
Food was terrible and very expensive, BBQ ribs £9.95 belly ribs and very little sauce.....
£3 per person for crazy golf, £1.50 per child for 6 mins on bouncy castle, or ride on roundabout!
Pool had no slides, no floats, no balls.....nothing....
All fun activities in the pool for over 8's
Would not go again.......

We Stayed At The Wild Duck Haven Holiday Park - On
We stayed at the Wild Duck Haven Holiday park - on a SUN Holiday, we wasnt expecting too much after reading some of the reviews, but i was so shocked to find that all of the bad reviews how wrong they were!
We were greated upon our arrival with a friendly smile, given good directions to our caravan, to which we were so shocked at how amazing the caravan was.
we had DOUBLE GLAZING, EN-SUITE, GAS RADIATOR HEATING THROUGHOUT THE CARAVAN, it was spotlessly clean, we had a flat screen TV with an integrated DVD player.
Going in September we were worried about how cold it would be in the caravan, as we have a 7 month old baby, we had NO WORRIES, the caravan was warm, we didnt need the heating on, the bedding that was provided was fine, and my daughter was able to fit into our room also in her travel cot.
My parents stayed in another caravan, which we requested to be close to each other, and we were a few caravans apart, which was GREAT, and they didnt have as sucha posh caravan, but still they had a spotlessly clean caravan, no central heating, but the gas Fire in the lounge was surfice and was very happy with how everything worked and the bedding provided.
The swimming pool was great for babies and children and adults alike, the facilities were all clean, the enetertainment for children was brilliant, and i am sure that the entertainment during peak times would be great, but was a little poor as we went out of season. But that didnt put a downer at all on our holiday.
The Grill on site served great food, i am very fussy and there was loads to choose from, and was good quality meat too.
We had a fantastic stay at the Wildducks and will definatly be going again.

Me And A Party Of 11 Arrived On The 13th August Fo
me and a party of 11 arrived on the 13th august for 3 nights and we were glad it was only this length of time. I went to Wild Duck with a party of 4 adults 4 children and 1 infant. The caravans were not ready till 4 and this was an inconveniance because there was an infant and a child with learning difficulties. They had the cheek to offer us the option to move in to the caravan at 2:30 for a £20 charge. The caravan was filthy ahd did not have the room for a travel cot which we had paid extra for causing me and my partner to sleep in the living area. It was damp and musty. And also looked like it had not been lived in there for a while. There was nothing really for the kids and they spent most of the time in the arcades . This cost us a fortune. The kids ages were 11,11,10,10. We will never go here again and would advise all to check carefully on the place. Waste of time and money NEVER AGAIN. DONT GO. Also staff were lazy and food was RUBBISH

Haven Or Hell?? Wild Duck Arrived On Sat 24t
HAVEN OR HELL?? WILD DUCK
Arrived on Sat 24th July, for 7 nights, had booked a large basic pitch and this was our first time at a HAVEN thought would try it instead of usual smaller private sites, due to the facilities that were included....BIG mistake. YOU NEED TO TAKE OUT A LOAN TO STAY HERE PRICES ARE MARKED UP WAY HIGHER THAN NORMAL!!
Ended up under trees, sandy ground and lots of roots to contend with, weather was rainy so lets try the POOL....only open at certain times & very very basic, boring for little one's, Lifeguards stood chatting, letting kids dive into pool and run around the sides. Other times closed for Private fun incl inflatables etc which they charged £5 per person per 1/2 hour for, and at the times they wanted not you.
SHOWER BLOCKS....basic but clean, push showers and not very hot water.
LAUNDERETTE....£5 to wash your clothes??
OASIS BAR/RESTAURANT....SILLY PRICES ON EVERYTHING..£1.75 for a Muffin, £4.75 for a glass of wine, and the food was just as bad....surly staff who don't really care....Outside area with childrens play stuff, closed in evenings so you have to go into the SHOWBAR...even worse...dire shows, dire prices, cheap tacky stuff being forced on you to buy for the kids which you could probably get in the £1 shop, smelt awful, crashing tills, high priced on everything.
ARCADE...DO not waste your money on any of it, they have 'ticket' machines which you would have to spend a small fortune to get anything worthwile with.
MACHINES constantly breaking, sticking, not paying out...NIGHTMARE
CHIP SHOP....SIMPLY HAVE NO IDEA AT ALL CANNOT EVEN GET AN ORDER RIGHT!
PLAY AREA....not bad, but kids unsupervised throwing pine cones at smaller one's.
They also messed up my booking and had the nerve to charge me another £38 to stay the extra night that should have already been included, despite having notices that say 'stay another night for £20!!'
They have no control over the people staying despite saying 'family only' Loud and noisy groups of girls and men (which apparantly they dont allow) shouting at all hours.
You have to be off site by 10 am which can be a pain but in our case it was a relief.
I would not call this HAVEN I would call it HELL!!!
NEVER AGAIN

July 2009 Good Week, Nice Caravan And Clean. Wild
July 2009 Good week, nice caravan and clean. Wild Duck park small and woodland setting.Entertainment was good for the children and the Circus acts were good also. Bingo on too early and if you went after 6.30 often couldn't get a seat. Swimming pool closed too early and was small.
Adult entertainment adequate, much better at other Haven sites we have stayed at.
Staff friendly and helpful, bar and food prices on par with elewhere.
Would go again!Plenty to do off site in Gt Yarmouth and surrounding area.

Disgusting Caravan. Paid For A Superior Plus But G
Disgusting caravan. Paid for a superior plus but got a worse caravan than friends who had paid for one you could take a dog into. Carpet in lounge was so filthy we didn't dare take our shoes off, and we had to wash everything in the kitchen, even cups still had drink stains in. We had to go to reception 3 times to ask for pillows before they were brought to us. When we complained about van nobody was interested and letter which came after we had arrived home, said our friends had maybe gotten a free upgrade but you could only guarantee a good van if you paid for it!!!! We did, and still we got filth. So very bad customer service.
Haven Holidays, Wild Duck has a nice woodland setting for park amid a village. Smallish sized site. A good park and football courts for the kids to play on. Pool was incredibly busy most of the time, which was a shame. Luckily we had good weather so were out and about alot. Food at the Oasis bar very nice but quite pricey, and the kids menu was the usual nuggets, sausages and fishfingers with chips, apart from the annabel karmel section where the portions were tiny!!! Entertainment on the one night we went in the showbar was pretty dire and the drinks quite pricey.
