Haven Holidays, Lydstep Village

We loved Lydstep Village but the caravan we stayed in did not live up to

our expectations. We paid 350 for 3 nights in a private caravan, what is described as luxury.

The ad says there is a TV in the bedroom but there wasn't when we were there!

The saucepans needed washing before we could use them, when I rang the owners to ask about the missing TV, I was told it had been broken. Why didn't they tell us before we went?

We went to Lydstep Village last year, me and my two kids, and we were amazed!

After a poor Haven holiday last year, we hadn't got our hopes up, but it was the best holiday ever. Although there is no outdoor pool, the indoor is just as suited and nice and clean. The staff are helpful and keen to impress and always do what you request as quickly as possible.

Check-in was fast, and we were in our caravan within an hour. Clean caravan, clean oven and clean fridge. Very child-friendly, staff like to make the kids laugh and I even left my seven-year old with a member of staff while I went to the general shop on site, and when I came back they were both there giggling. The setting is peaceful, yet exciting to be in and it's definitely worth going!
