Flower of May, Scarborough

Have just returned from a ten day break at this excellent camp site. Had a great time. Site very quiet even although it has a club house, Which we didn't use as to busy exploring, too tired to appreciate when we came back each night but judging by the amount of people going down there each night I would say was very good. Site is excellent for families, my daughter loved the park. It has it's own pool which is very reasonably priced. Shop was great, Sausage rolls to die for!! had a great cooked breakfast at the cafe before we left, wish had sampled it before! Also Has the Scarborough Fair exhibition on site, well worth a visit, we all had a great time, well worth the £5 entrance fee. The volunteers are lovely, you even get to have a turn on the old rides. Very central to all local attractions. Site toilet blocks were immaculate what a difference from what we are used to touring Scotland! I am afraid a great deal of the Scottish sites need to learn a lesson in providing adequate toilet block facilities, like we came across at Flower of May! Best of all "No Midgies" Plus most sites are Super pitches no filling up or getting rid of waste! I would recommend this site to anyone. As a proud Brit, it was lovely driving through all the wee villages, which still had their Union flag bunting & Union flags up from the Jubilee in anticipation of the Olympics. Made you proud!! not like at home where even the local British Legion club in Crossgates, Fife, couldn't even be bothered to fly thr union flag on their Jack!!!!!

the Flower of May is a fantastic holiday park. I was so clean and the tolits and showers were spotless. I stayed there for 3 days. As the schools has gone back it was very quiet which was great. The dog walk was very pleasent and only took a few minuets to reach a lovely field and stunning views of the sea and scarborough.I loved this holiday park. Everything about it was so clean and so well run.

Had a fantastic time whilst staying at the campsite, Flower of May Holiday Park, the weather was beautiful. Would definitely recommend the park to couples wanting a quite weekend or for families. Hope to go again in the near future.
