Cimdon Dene Holiday Park, County Durham

We arrived excited and keen to book into our Bronze Mobile Home. We had to have Bronze as we have Betty, our jack Russell.

The Reception was friendly and quick, so I can not fault them, but when we found our home for the week, our hearts sank, before we even unlocked the door. Here is my list ....

Broken slabs on the path, weeds all around, even pots were weeds and grass! Windows filthy and seal was hanging off. . When we got in we were met, on looking around with .... Carpets has stains and it smelled nasty.

REALLY smelly toilet and stained carpet! As were all the rooms carpets! Dust on the wardrobe floor and also other cupboard areas were dirty. Oven door and racks were dirty and stained. No lampshade in the dining area. If you put the kettle on the kitchen light dimmed. The dining room?hallway door was disgusting!! Glass Cabinet door falling off (right hand side) Settee has lost its springs! Also under the cushions were dirty and litter. This not only meant sitting on the floor, but also had to go home early as it put my back out!!! Yellow stains on basin and shower area. The Dust Buster for cleaning was matted with, well I don't know, but it was matted.

The whole place just felt dirty and below Bronze!

We may have a dog, Betty, but we do not live this way at home!!!

When we handed the keys back early, we were told they are busy and don't have time to clean the homes properly .... Don't rent them out then!!!

NOW, for the beach! Full of glass, empty cans of 'whatever', general rubbish!

I have to say, I would never Never NEVER go back again.

We were hoping to buy a home here, but the whole experience has just deflated me
