It Get Worse And Worse
We have stayed here for some years but it has gone seriously down hill. The pitches are hardstanding and hedged and easy to get into but they are coved in weed, most of the taps don't work and the drains are blocked. The showers was cold, the flow was awful ,they were dirty with missing tiles and the wood was rotten and the paint peeling. The hand dryer did not work. The walk around the lake was covered in dogs muck. We will find somewere else in future.

Camping Municipal De Chalons-en-champagne Is An Ex
Camping Municipal De Chalons-en-champagne is an excellent stop-over sight a few km off the A26. The sight has well laid out hard standing pitches divided by hedge rows with trees to provide reasonable shade. There is a lake attached to the sight, which can be fished without charge. Good stop-over sight on your way south/north. Toilet/shower blocks are adequate but in need of refurbishment

A Great Site With Lovely People. Most Are Using I
A great site with lovely people. Most are using it a one night stop on their way to their main holiday site. Good welcome from the guys at the reception. All pitches are excellent pitches and of a good size and on hard standing. The washing facilities were more than adequate. There is a separate area for tents. The site is next to a small lake, which makes a pleasant walk, but mind the geese. There is a small park for younger children. We always stay here as one of our stops on the way to the South of France. But it is worth staying for a few days, to explore the area. Would definitely recommend it, and we will use this site again
