Brittany, Camping de la Pommeraie St Philibert

The camping de la pommeraie st. philbert is located on the very busy road from Tregunc to Pointe de Trevignon, heavy traffic until the early hours, this is not apparent even with google mapping. On arrival we were given a Mobile Home,probably a sub-let, which was not cleaned properly, dirty cupboards dust etc, we spent the first day cleaning,(this campsite charges 50 euros for cleaning!)worse still there was a really sweaty duvet. The owner who talks a great deal,gave us a story, took the duvet away and arrived back 2 hours later saying he had cleaned and dried it, but it still stank. The mobile had a 1980's orange and brown type decor, very far from the website image, and definitely not as advertised.

There was no sun lounger or chair on the deck, and we spent two days asking for one, a variety of excuses were given, finally we had to invoke the contract, and the owner gave us his own old plastic sun lounger,which we cleaned, then we broke the arm, they were 34 euros in the local supermarket, upon leaving we agreed a sum of 70 euros for the "cleaning" and broken chair-when we got home we got a nasty e mail informing us that they had taken more than that, in total 110 euros from our credit card. There are plenty of independently owned French campsites in this area to stay in, dont go to Camping De la Pommeraie.
