The Petzl Tikkina Headlamp Isn't Good For Long Dis
The Petzl Tikkina Headlamp isn't good for long distances, but it is bright enough to light you way while walking or doing chores around the camp. It's lack of brightness is more than made up for in longevity, it LED bulb lasts several times longer than my similar head lamp with a incandescent bulb. With 3 AAA batteries it is very light, you barely notice you have it on. This has caused me some embarrassment when I forgot I had it on as I visited a store on my way home from camping. I still get the occasional miner joke from that store clerk.
Other than the fact that you look a little silly wearing it, it is great. It is nice not having one hand tied up holding a flashlight
