recently booked a room at Marriott in Orlando, FL was quoted a rate for a room with a cancellation clause, however, when got confirmation, was for a nonrefundable room. I called and talked to the head manager in charge and he refused to correct the reservation. Will never use them again........

We booked a trip to Egypt with youtravel, we got to the mini bus at the destination before the wretched rep. announced he was not taking us to our hotel but to another 'equivalent hotel', which of course was not the case. When we got to that hotel they would not accept our accomodation vouchers as youtravel had not bothered to send them on. Lots of international calls later and we were transferred to another hotel in Sahl Hasheesh, which was good, but the area is essentially one giant building site at the moment.

They will leave you to it and don't care, unless you phone them up and put a lot of pressure on you. They are deceitful and contradicted themselves on several occasions trying to get their story right. DON'T USE THEM.

We had the misfortune of dealing with their rep in Hisaronu. He rang up claiming to be our rep. He charged 60% more for trips than people who booked through another operator for identical trips (we found out later) then had the audacity to charge 2.5 TL (instead of 2.35) to the £ for paying via credit card. He also said a transfer would turn up which we were told wouldn't as the company was in some way involved with GoldTrail - guess what? It didn't and it cost us 120TL to get a taxi to the airport. Thanks a bunch!

had to chase for hotel voucher ,dont be inticed by cheap prices,only interested in grabbing your money then leaving you to it if things go wrong. bad if you have 3 young children .stressfull deceitful. rude managers.would never touch you travel.com again .
