Our flight to Turkey was delayed by about 6 hours. We were not offered many of the rights that we were entitled to such as a telephone call or an email. We also did not receive sufficient money to feed a family of four while we waited to board. Finally after we did take off, there was a bloody, violent fight onboard, which the all female crew could not cope with. Passengers were left to fend for themselves.

Upon arriving at our accomodation we found faeces stained sheets and a dirty floor. My 18 month old daughter scribbled on the sheets with a pen and we reported this to housekeeping. We were advised that it would not be a problem. My 3 year old son wet the bed another night but they refused to change the sheets and even though I had removed them, the soiled sheets were put back on the bed because it was not policy to change the sheets (or towels for that matter)daily. I also spoke to a fellow passenger whose son got sick and soiled five sheets. Upon checkout we were charged €20 for the ink stained sheet. This lady was not charged. We refused to pay this charge.

As a consequence we were told that we would be removed from the coach to the airport as we had broken the law by not paying this charge. Knowing that this was an empty threat we refused to move and said that we would only leave the bus under arrest if we had in fact broken the law. Of course the police were never called. However the departure was delayed by 30 minutes as a ploy to humiliate and intimidate us in front of fellow passengers. During this stand off the so called Manager threatened my husband with violence.

Needless to say our holiday was ruined. We have complained to Wings Abroad and also about the Pine Club where we stayed but both parties deny all charges. Wings Abroad are cheaper than their competitors but sometimes you get what you pay for. As the old saying goes buyer beware.

We booked a holiday to turkey with wings abroad. Three days later my father died. We contacted them to see if we could postpone our holiday for a couple of weeks, we were willing to pay a surcharge as we were going as a family of four. The tour operators were really unhelpful and would do nothing to help us. Just what we needed at this difficult time. We would never book with them again and certainly not recommend them.
