I spoke to a lovely lady who sorted out a problem I had when I tried to book two seats for our two travellers, but didn't realise I hadn't enough cash in the bank to cover the cost.

She sorted the problem out and within minutes flight confirmation was sent and now we await tickets.

All very professional and polite and WEST EAST were by far offering cheap flights to Thailand.

All in all...great company. Lovely staff...good website...superb prices for tickets.

One odd thing though...when I tried to book via their website the two tickets it would not recognise either of the two travellers first names or indeed their surnames....but would on my daughters computer!?Odd!!

Virtually all Thai and Asian folk buy their tickets in the town I live in from West East Travel...so they must be doing something right?

Can't understand why a few people on here have had problems...compared with some travel agents West East are a lot better and easier to deal with.

We have booked with this company over the last 6 years for our annual family holiday to Thailand and time after time, we always find Westeast Travel to offer the cheapest deals. Their customer service is good and will always find the best option of flights for us and all documents and tickets are sent within hours of booking. Never had a problem with them and will continue to book with them in the future.

Not sure was it just me that had bad experience with this company. I booked with this westeasttravel through recommendation of a friend. Here is what I noticed:

1) The price appears on the website does not reflect the price this company will charge you. I booked a flight from London (LHR) to HCM (SGN, the price stated £560,54, so I confirmed the purchased. However, I was charged over £600 on my card.

2) I was contacted several times by Barclays Bank - my bank account provider to confirmed the purchased whether if I - myself made the transactions. I wonders for what reasons why they contacted me. Then I found out when got the receipt from WestEastTravel. The story is a) their website to booked the flights/tours is not secured; b) they messed up my firstname and my middle name, so it doesn't match with my account resulting the bank contacted me from both automated message and a Fraud Department agent. They didn't amend the mistake though it was made by themselves.

3) It is not easy to reach them. I do not really mind to call 0844 or 0870 through either landline or mobile, but I dislikes to put on wait for long - may the reason why people hate calling 0870/084*. When you call them, you have 3 language options to choose: English, Thai, Vietnamese. So I guessed it was the reason why my friend recommend this as he was a Vietnamese himself.

Overall, if I could roll back the time, I would rather book my flights/tours with other well-known and regulated agents/providers like baa.com/lastminute.com, netflights, and so forth.

Booker Beware!

If anything goes wrong this company will not help you.

We booked a package with them but were not satisfied, the hotel offered a refund but we had to fight to get it processed by this company, they held on to the money for months. Lots of broken promises and B***S**T.

They are a bunch of Hustlers!

Top class. Cheapest company to book flights to Thailand. They sometimes guarantee this! Great service, easy to use and very friendly service. I always book with this company.

Used WestEast 3 times paperless tickets great prices simple easy cheap no problems Looking at booking for later in year, saw someone giving them bad time thought better put people straight

Booked with them for the 3rd time, this time to Australia via Singapore on Singapore air. They put the 2 of us on separate bookings which made it difficult later for retrieving tickets and booking accommodation. They were unable to book Singaporeair Stopover accommodation and said they only booked hotels in Thailand. They did not tell us it was a paperless ticket, so was chasing them for a real ticket and once again. When I asked them for the Singaporeair references so that we could book our accommodation they gave us incorrect references that Singapore air didn't recognize. And all this from an agency on the street with a proper shop, not some annonymous bucket shop. As someone who now has to do this trip twice a year, they have done themselves out of quite a lot of future business, especially as some future travel will be business class, I will also advise my many contacts not to use them either.
