I always wanted to go to India, and Volunteering India seemed to match what I wanted to do. I took part in the Summer program this year and was with a group of 14 people on the trip. Wow, I have never spent 3 weeks in a better way than going through different cities of India. I loved the children while I volunteered in Delhi, only hoped it could last a bit longer. Palampur was great and I loved to visit Dalai Lama's temple. Bibby was hilarious and took care of you and made sure you were comfortable. The trek was amazing and Parag was a great guide and showed us everything in detail. All accommodations and meals were super and I had no complaints whatsoever. Totally worth the money spent! Only regret was that I could not spend more time with the children at the street kids center in old Delhi, I felt 5 days was too short.

Had a great time in India during my 3 weeks program in Summer. The Volunteering India staff was very cooperative and always available. The accommodation facilities provided exceeded my expectations as well. Will definitely recommend my friends and other participants looking to spend time and doing meaningful volunteering.The whole trip was very well organized and the support from the local team was excellent. While on the weekend trips, the stay at the hotels was great too. Particularly enjoyed the visit to Choki Dhani and see the ethnic dancers. The only recommendation I would have would be to maybe have a bit more variety in the meals and have better internet connectivity at Palampur house. Rest all was great.
