I purchased a holiday in Venice in November 2011 - 4 day stop with my partner. On Tuesday before the thursday departure, my partners grandfather died. She was distraught, and flew back to the USA immediately. I contacted Last Minute on a number of occasions, each time being promised a call back. I received none. Eventually I got through to someone on their team who informed me that i would not receive any refund for hotel, could not postpone or cancel the trip but could get a refund from easy jet for the ticket.

When contacting them again on my return, I was told that I had to provide a death certificate of my partners grandfather - which I personally found insulting, He died less than a week ago and i was not being refunded due to Easy Jet and Lastminute not believing me. Surely the onus should be on them to prove that i am not telling the truth, instead of having to request a death certificate from my partner, who is distraught over the loss. How can two companies operate in such a callus manner...Easy Jet seem to continue from one PR blunder to the next.

But for the sake of a 100 pound refund, which is a lot to me, I am told to get death certificate off my partners parents...Come on...I am fuming.

My family and i had a safari with Uganda Last Minute at the beginning of the year 2010 between 10 to 15 Jan to treetops, L. Nakuru National Park and Masai Mara. We were happy to be met by Martin himself at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. He introduced us to our driver guide Andrew Njoroge and briefed us on the safari before we left. Andrew is a good driver always driving at 80KMPH and stopping whenever necessary to have my children help themselves.

The hotels, we were booked in included the Ark in Aberdares, Lion Hill in Nakuru and keekorok lodge in mara. For what we paid, this was the best value for money. With Andrew, we were able to see all the big five and the way he handle our younger son dave was amazing. the boy wakes up and asks for Andrew whenever he sees pictures of wildlife.

We appreciate the efforts martin and his team made to enable us have a wonderful safari in kenya.

Recommended to us by a friend who has used them, we were able to get in touch with Martin of UgandaLastMinute.Com for our just concluded safari to Kenya and Uganda from the 24th of August. His response were very fast and with various suggestions on what we could do with 14days at hand. We settled on 5 days Uganda gorilla express safari and 10 days Best Kenya Safari. Martin worked on a mix of hotels some luxury and others mid-range as our budget was limited. He ensured that he was personally available to meet us on arrival at Entebbe and Jomo kenyatta airports. We were also happy with his driver guides David in Uganda and Andrew in Kenya who were good in spotting the animals.
