I wanted to get a cheap backpacker policy that covers medical and compared this company with a couple of others and found here that a 12 month policy costs £217.00 compared with World Nomads that was £391. The site's easy to understand and you can add on winter sports insurance or high altitude trekking (which I didn't want to do). would definitely reccomend it. Haven't had to make a claim, so hopefully all will be ok if I do, but from first impressions, it looks good
