Hi,

I was trying to book one way ticket from Pune to Jaipur (Rs.2370). I paid for this throught my VISA card. Just after payment i recieved invoice of Rs.5200 and a round trip ticket. Now they are calling me up and asking me to pay difference amount else they will cancel my booking themselves and transfer Rs.2370-Rs.750 (penalty) to my account. I just can't understand why the hell I should pay penalty when I didn't go for one way. How can a agent issue tickets for a round trip with partial payment. Have travelled many times but this first experience with travelxp is hellish. plz dont go for this website.

On 25th Sept’11,Sunday,12:14pm, I booked return tickets (EWR->KOL).

Amount of Rs 44961 was charged to my credit card and I received my flight booking confirmation & invoice. The E-ticket was supposed to be issued within one hour. At 12:50 pm I received a call from TravelXp agent who wanted to inform me that the tickets were not available on that rate and more money was being demanded from that agent. Nowhere during the transaction on travelxp website was I asked or informed that after I pay the amount for the ticket booking I will be blackmailed into paying more money. After a lot of heated conversation, the agent informed me that the ticket will be issued at the same cost. Attaching email details:

Please provide us passenger’s passport scan copy as per Airlines requirement as we need to provide passport details in your PNR for your ticket confirmation because if we do not provide passport details we can’t process for the booking as well as we can’t get ticket number.

So request you to provide passport copy to us at the earliest . After receiving copy we will issue the ticket & forward you the same ticket copy as soon as possible in same cost.

This email was sent at 2:12 pm. At 7:54pm I have mailed travelxp the passenger’s passport scan copy (which was not mentioned as criteria for issuing ticket on the website). As of now, it has been more than 18 hours of me sending the passport scan copy but no reply has been received.

I had made at least 5-7 calls to travelxp in the last 24 hours. None of my calls have resulted in a clear response from any of the agents. I was only forwarded from one agent to another. And after 24 hours of harassment from Travelxp i decided to withdraw my money from them. I got my money after 4 days.

I travels most of the time to different places for my business meeting, i have booked tickets with travelxp, the response i got was really wonderful and services was amazing.I got the value whatever i have spent.
