My husband searched on a reputable flight website for return flights to LA and this company was one of the cheapest listed. He booked through skyworldtravel without checking the reviews (BIG MISTAKE).

Sequence of events:

1. After booking, they called my husband and claimed that the booking hasn’t gone through possibly due to the fact that it was fully booked as my husband made the reservation. Unfortunately they do not have ticket with that price anymore, however if he paid £400 more, he can still get a flight to LA. To which my husband said no thank you very much, I don’t want new tickets I will go elsewhere.

2. My husband checked that they indeed had not charged the money and booked with BA.

3. Found that he was charged the money later so he called to enquire. They said that the charge has gone through so my husband wanted to cancel. They told him there’s 50% penalty for cancellation, which amount to almost £900. My husband pointed out that they told him the ticket was not available and the money did not go through so as far as he is concerned there was no transaction so how could he be charged? But they kept saying if you want to cancel this ticket there’s 50% charge.

4. My husband said I will take legal action and hung up.

5. They called back and said the original low price tickets are still available and he will be given the original tickets.

Luckily BA agreed for him to cancel the flight he booked and redeem as voucher.

Lessons learned

1. Always go to review sites to look up the company before booking.

2. Be very suspicious if they call you back after booking especially when they demand more money.

3. To be on the safe side, book direct with airlines.

Avoid this travel agency. Will take your money. They will show the lowest fare and u book it .take the money of Yr account and they will say the reserved ticket is gone u got to find other alternative for higher price.please guys stay away from this agency

This company makes out that they are British airways. They prey on people in a crisis. They are taking advantage of the covid 19 pandemic to mislead people. I asked are you British airways. Yes. When I rang back and said you mislead me, they then put me on hold and hanged up. You are the lowest form of life of the earth (wouldn't let me use the word i wanted to describe you). If you work for this company shame on you.

AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Sad thing is they know they can get away with it. But I will put up a review were ever I can and contact trading standards. Fight back.

My mother was directed to this company by an internet search an on accident thought she had the number for BA. When she asked whether she was speaking to BA the person she spoke to said that indeed, she was speaking to British Airways. it was only on recieving her booking details she realised that it was not. She booked

her flight over the phone. Because of illness she couldn't fly so she paid £100 to change the flight and received a 'credit voucher'. We have spoken to 7 different people over the course of the week trying to redeem the voucher, everytime being told a different reason why we cant book, only one person can process the voucher etc, One person put the phone down. Everytime we call they say they need to 'call you back'. Avoid at all costs.

This company took $600 from me to supposedly change a flight. I worked with someone to set up the ticket change, and someone else is the "customer service" representative. Not only did they NOT change my ticket, but they WILL NOT refund me the money that they took. Genuinely don't know how the employees can sleep at night knowing that they get paid by money from innocent travelers. Horrible customer service, so unresponsive.

I was in Athens and my partner suddenly died I had to get home quickly I was actually at Athens airport I've booked a ticket with this mob they charged me double the price for the normal ticket and they didn't issue my e-ticket until 10 minutes after the gate closed when I try to contact him about it it they said that the ticket was non-refundable even though no they issued it after the gate closed avoid at all costs if I could I would give them -5 stars

Don't even think about using this horrible company giving you wrong information try to take money off from you.

This site should be reported to the organisation to stop running the service.

Rude and ignorant peoples are running the company to do anything to get money off from you.

Buying tickets from airlines and sell it double the price.
