Sandals Caribbean Resorts

Old resort that require major updating. Food is poor in quality and not what is shown in the brochures. The room smelled and this not what is expected from an advertised 5 star resort. There were bugs dead and alive in the room and I was afraid to take my clothes home.

The grounds and the beach are beautiful but better deals are to be had. Do your research first.

If you are just starting to travel and are travelling on a budget, Sandals is not bad. The service is good with nightly bands playing. All your food and activities on sight is included in the price. I would say it's about a three star resort. It has a lot of young couple, who are interested in partying and the music plays loudly until late at night. If you enjoy Scuba diving, the value is excellent if you did nothing but Scuba and ate. If you're looking to do stuff outside of the resort, your choices are limited.
