Great Company To Deal With.

Just thought I would drop you a line to thank you and your Company for my son & daughter -in - law's recent honeymoon trip to Cuba. They had a fantastic time and were well looked after by their reps whilst there. The only down side was them being delayed 24hrs by Air France on the way out but they were given accommodation in an airport hotel by the airline and it didn't seem to detract from their enjoyment of their trip. So thank you again Mauricio and I would have no hesitation in recommending you and your Company to anyone in the future.

Quest World Travel Cuba

Mauricio at Quest World Travel had organised what turned out to be a fantastic trip to his homeland. (Cuba- July

2013). A slight hiccup initially with his colleague, however, his hotel recommendations were good and his response to questions were always dealt with promptly and efficiently. Always listening to requests and presenting different options.

His colleague in Havana was a delightful woman who was extremely helpful and forthcoming with ideas and suggestions for things to do in and around the city and really knew everything there was to do and see outside of the normal tourist attractions( including where to find a traditional Cuban Barbers). She made us feel welcomed, relaxed and excited to be there and explore the wonderful city without any pressure to buy into the extra activities on offer. Her opinions were honest and heartfelt and she was very patient with our many questions. Also very accommodating with our requests.

Our trip to Varadero ( Paradisus Princesa del Mar), although it didn't get off to the best start with the Hotel rooms (very dated and 3*), amenities or the Hotel Reception staff, who do need to learn the proper etiquette in customer services ( greeting guests with hello or even a smile doesn't seem to be part of their training).

Quest Worlds representative, was 30mins late for our meeting ( not ideal when you are on holiday and want to be relaxing and not worrying about meetings, however he redeemed himself by getting us an upgrade to the Royal service which was worthy of the 5 star rating of the Hotel unlike the main section of the hotel which is 3 star. Although I am given to understand that they are in the process of upgrading the accommodation.

The majority of the staff in the Royal service were excellent, warm and accommodating along with the

rooms and facilities on offer. (See Reception Staff comments above)

All in all We had such a wonderful time and enjoyed ourselves immensely.

So thanks to all the team @ Quest World Travel for organising this trip for us.

I will be sure to continue recommending you to friends and colleagues for future trips and look forward to booking with you again soon

Kind Regards

Best Holiday Ever

We booked our holiday to Cuba through Quest Wold Travel Ltd, they arranged everything and we had the best holiday ever. We stayed at the Parque Central in Havana and then flew out to Cayo Santa Maria and stayed at the Buenavista, which is the best resort ever if you are looking for a quiet relaxed child free hotel. 5 star luxury, can highly recommend.

Best Holiday Ever!

Would just like to thank Quest World Travel for a wonderful holiday. Everything went according to plan, fantastic hotels and beautiful country. You must add Cuba to your bucket list, such a wonderful country and the people are so friendly. We went on a twin centre holiday, first to Parque Central in Havana for 3 nights, fantastic hotel, would say probably best in Havana! Then we stayed at the Buenavista in Cayo Santa Maria, best resort I have been to. Accommodation was wonderful and so were the staff. Thanks again to Quest World for a fantastic holiday. Its set the standard for all my future holidays.

Cuba 2013. Havana And Varadero

I am writing this review to thank Quest World Travel for organising my dream holiday to Cuba. From the very first conversation I had with Jose online I was confident that my holiday was going to be personally tailored to my needs and I was right. He gave me a lot of insight into both Havana and Varadero and helped me to choose the best hotels in each location. I stayed at the Parque Central in Havana and the Blau Varadero and both hotels were excellent. Mauricio, who dealt with my booking was incredibly helpful. He responded to my e-mails straight away and he was always on the other end of the phone if I needed to clarify anything. I informed him that I am gluten intolerant and he e-mailed me a translation of this in Spanish, which I could use in local restaurants. This was extremely useful as I didn't have a single problem with the food which was a pleasant surprise. Everything ran like clockwork from boarding the flight in Manchester to leaving Varadero. The private transfers were included in the price of the holiday as were the visas. We had the most amazing holiday in Cuba, the weather was wonderful and the Cuban people are some of the friendliest people I have ever come across. I will certainly be booking again with Quest. You will not get better than service than this and believe me I am fussy. Thanks once again guys, this holiday was one to remember.

First Class Holiday

My 1st visit to Cuba to celabrate my 70th birthday. The service provided by Quest World Travel from the moment that I first made contact to the return to Varadero airport on the way home was faultless.

The transfer to the Telegrafo Hotel to Havana was painless and after a long flight was just what was required.

The 4 nights at the Telegrafo Hotel was pleasant, located in a perfect location to explore Havana, with a couple of evenings spent watching the enless ebb and flow of the traffic and people meandering past the hotel.

The coach transfer to Varadero again was smooth and painless.

The 11 nights at the Blau Varadeo Hotel was a wonderful experence, located on the 14th floor with a fantastic view over the lavish gardens and the sea.

A most rewarding stay the outstanding feature must be the staff, at all times providing an extremly high level of service.

Once again the return transfer to Varadeo airport was 1st class.

If Something Goes Wrong....

Sounds like the other reviewers had no problems with their trip. On the plus side, Mauricio was responsive (until he had our money), helpful and flexible (and certainly good value). The Cuban reps were all friendly and helpful.

However, we were rung on our UK mobile at 11pm on Christmas Eve (in Cienfuegos) to say we had no hotel for the following night. I contacted Mauricio by email and phone with no reply - it was several hours earlier in the UK. A non-English speaking taxi driver appeared the following morning and took us to Santiago, where the local rep found us a casa, which was acceptable.

I emailed Mauricio again, but have no reply to any communication since payment was made.

The moral, of course, is, if nothing goes wrong, you should be fine, but if something does....

PS - thoroughly enjoyable Cuba, despite this experience.

Mauricio

Just to let you have our comments on the above, which was a huge success.

The flight out and back was jam packed but fairplay to Virgin, their seats are comfortable and the staff efficient and smiley, even in in economy. Also, flight out was quicker than expected and indeed the one back was even quicker.

We arrived and were told that the Ambos Mundos had an electrical problem (they I suspect had overbooked for two days) and we were sent off to the Saratoga which it was emphasised to us was 6 stars. Well, we had a fabulous room, the hotel facilities were stunning with a swimming pool and bar on the roof. So started off on a high, BUT unfortunately it overlooks an extremely busy square. We had a room that faced this so sleep, with no double glazing, was not a possibility. We had actually chatted to another couple with the same problem and all agreed that the noise stopped for about two hours from say 4 am to 6 am. Perhaps you are already aware of this but you might be careful of who you send there and where their room is, because complaints would be inevitable.

Anyway, then on to the Ambus Mundos (we moved on the Wednesday). The position of this hotel is fabulous - no noise and can walk everywhere. The Hemmingway connection obviously brings lots of business and the roof terrace lovely. This is run by a chap who is incredibly efficient and both lunch in the evening, supper, together with the bar, is fabulous. Unfortunately, the rest of the hotel is not so efficiently run, the rooms are grubby, the breakfast grim and it is a real pity because it would be possible, with no cost, to improve things enormously. Please do not think we are blaming you, we are not. I read the reviews and perhaps we were just a bit unlucky. The Santa Isabel is just a half star more and looked fabulous. We had coffee there a few mornings, the breakfast being so grim, and having now read the reviews, it would appear that our judgement was correct.

Then, on to the Hotel Blau - GREAT - we loved it there. The rooms were lovely, the food outstanding and all in all the beach week was outstanding.

Your agencies there are great, every connection was made just as they said, the service always done with a smile.

So, in summary I would be more than happy to recommend you and indeed did. We will definitely go back to the Caribbean and on doing some reading, liked the idea of Trinidad. Not sure you go there but will be back in touch in the future.

Thank you.
