I know everybody says the old cliche "they are the best" , But truly they are the best company I have ever ever dealt with. Recently went on a trip to USA by Harley Davidson route 66.My wife and I wanted a dream trip which we always wanted to do together as we are knocking on a bit now.First we started looking online , as you do. We got terribly confused,and misled.At this point we got so fed up we asked around our friends and family and low and behold we found this company Quartz Travel. My sister said "Doug they are not the cheapest but they are excellent".I went on their website quartztravel to see that you can book an appointment which joyce and I did it cost us £100.00 but we got it back when we booked our trip. In fairness is worth every penny.We arranged to go in on the Saturday for joyces birthday, car parking is free at the rear which is great.Went round the front walked into what i call a runway, we were blown away.Oh my goodness me. we saw a man and he was friendly , informative and really honest. We booked on the day which believe you me, we never make hasty decisions like that, ever !. We did the normal paid on time and it was a smidge off 10k .Alot of money but worth every penny,We were called up and invited in to go through the tickets , we did again shocked. We had champagne on arrival and went through in depth our itin in their posh "club lounge" Simply loved it,Finally the day arrived, Joyce shouted to me upstairs Doug look out of the window, my mouth could have not been any wider. A chauffeur driven BMW car to pick joyce an i up. Bucksfizz in the car, They all ready booked our seats together so we did not need queue and it was a big queue trust me. Then they had booked the speedy lane through security at the airport I have no idea how they had done that,amazing as the queue was huge going through . We go through into time and we were treated to a VIP lounge, icing on the cake for us. You can see just a taster of our trip however it was worth everything. Thanks Quartz Travel cant wait to book our trip to Lake Garda.

I first encountered Quartz Travel while trying to solve a logistical problem – my wedding transport. Although only a small wedding, we decided on one venue for the wedding, another for the photographs, a trip back to our house for a reception party, – and so on... six different places to get to, all on different sides of the city... all in York traffic. I’d called all sorts of places... then I met Paul. Want to keep your guests together? No problem – how about a luxury minibus? Lots of stops? Here’s the driver’s mobile phone number – he’s at your service all day... just call him when you need him. My only regret was that I’d already booked my honeymoon elsewhere.

It wasn’t until about six months later that I booked my first trip with Quartz. We’d seen a great last minute deal – really cheap – to Lake Garda through a high street chain but the agent knew nothing about it other than what was in the brochure... a twee little paragraph and a few aged photographs. This was the company that had sold us our honeymoon and my wife and I were just realising that the package-type holiday really wasn’t what we wanted. The problems was that the person selling us the trip didn’t seem to know what they were talking about and the pieces didn’t gel together (getting to an elephant sanctuary, for example, to find all of the elephant trips booked months in advance – large chains don’t think about these little details). So we went to Quartz again. Italy? Excellent choice. Lake Garda? Lovely. We showed them the deal we’d been offered. A nice hotel... but if we wanted peace and quiet, had we considered the Gardone Riviera? And what about this five star hotel for the same price? A week of pure bliss.

When we came back six months later it was to book a Once In A Lifetime Trip to Peru. Again, we’d shopped around to try and find the best deal but when we came to see Quartz and showed them the itineraries we’d looked at, Paul only smiled. This one, he said, (pointing to the first) looks great – but did you notice how much time you’re spending on coaches? We hadn’t realised... Seven trips of at least six hours each. And this one, he said (pointing to the second) is also good... but have you thought about the altitude? They’ve got you starting up in the Andes and ending up at sea level. If you do the trip the other way around it’ll give you time to acclimatise. So we let him build an itinerary for us – taking in Machu Picchu, the rainforests, Lake Titicaca, and so on. All private guides, all flights (except for that lovely Orient Express-style train ride through the Andes...) and he even managed to get us some time in Brazil, capitalising on the no-additional-cost option of breaking our flights. It really was the holiday of a lifetime – so we decided to book another. And another.

You see, Paul - and the rest of the staff at Quartz - love travel... they've been to these places. They know the hotels, the restaurants... they don't quote brochues. They understand.

Venice in the carnival. Isolated Colombian beaches. A trip across the length of China in the spring – just as the cherry blossom is in full bloom. They've made my life richer, my horizons broader; I won't be using any other travel agent.

Unrivalled expertise. “Oh-my-God-that’s-incredible” service. Attention to detail. I can’t recommend Quartz highly enough.

Quartz Travel have ALWAYS provided our coach travel when taking parties of children on school residentials.

Since they no longer offer this service we cannot find another company who offer service anywhere near as good.

Come on York coach companies!!!! All we need is the coach to turn up on time, with the right number of seats and a happy good looking driver is of course a bonus. We ALWAYS got all of these with Quartz.

We have used Quartz Travel for the past three years and I have never known a company so dedicated to meeting their customers needs, in fact not only meeting them but exceeding them. I have recomended friends and associates to use them, they have never disapointed us, even when due to a family illness last year we needed to cancel our holiday they took care of everything and re-arranged the whole trip for this year, nothing was too much trouble and it wasn't a streight forward booking. We have just returned from taking a short break to Venice, for my special birthday and with Quartz at the helm I had an unbelivable trip. My wife and i wanted to see what all the hype was about Quartz Travel all my friends had been talking about, on how good they were.So we gave them a whirl bearing in mind we are internet shoppers.Amazing walked into this office which was a contemp organised and above all buzzing with excitment.Jo sat at the end desk with a mouth opened as one of her favorite celebs whats sat right next to us ...This place is incredible we only wanted to go to Cape Verde and they told us where to go which hotel to use and the whole experience was just another world..I am getting to the point however we were delayed almost 27 hours delayed on the return and we thought this is where we will catch them out oh no how wrong were we they were there waiting for us 27 hours later thats impressive Thanks Quartz Travel

I was due to go to India before the Mumbai attacks and actually stay at the Incredible Taj Mahal Palace hotel...I got the same service as the review before me ,the person who wrote that review you saved me time on explaining on what they did for us thankyou..I am still in shock, my mum and dad booked in London at there travel agents and Got nothing ...they were due to go on the same holiday as us and they only saved £145.00 with there agent and still didnt go anywhere, Quartz Travel re arranged all our new travel arrangments FREE... we went to Doha and stayed at the fantatsic Chedi hotel sipping champagne..whilst my parents were at home in the cold " so sorry mum and dad if you read this i told you to book with Quartz "

Incredible ..Thanks to the owners

Booked a "holiday of a lifetime" to Thailand with a trip around Bangkok, River Kwai, the old capital of Thailand and various other highlights with Quartz and left everything to them. How lucky were we! 2 days before we were due to fly to Bangkok the protesters closed all the major airports into Thailand so our holiday was in serious jeopardy until we received a phone call from the rep at Quartz, first to tell us what had happened and secondly to ease our minds. We were fully expecting everything to be either cancelled or delayed but were told to leave everything to them. The day before we were due to fly, Quartz rang us and said that they had arranged a weeks visit to Malaysia with a couple of days on an exclusive luxury island and then to carry on with our original itinerary! We were due to fly from Heathrow at 9.30 the next day and at 7.30 on the evening before, the rep was sat in our lounge at home with all the re-arranged itinerary, tickets, vouchers etc. How many travel agents do you know that would put themselves out like that? NONE!

The next morning exactly on time a chauffeur driven Jag pulls up outside our home ready to whisk us down to Heathrow and on entering the car what greets us? A bottle of champagne and box of chocolates!!

The whole holiday went off without a hitch, all transfers, hotels, tours in fact everything worked out perfectly and on our return to Heathrow at 5.15 am Sunday morning, there is the Quartz transport ready to bring us back home.

Have no fears about booking with Quartz, they really are first class, expert travel consultants and all importantly that personal touch which means so much.

Our next holiday is guaranteed to be booked through Quartz travel

I'm pleased for Quartz Travel. I have had the pleasure in booking with them and they are really good.

We booked a holiday Ski-ing to Chamonix. We were spoiling ourselves this year by taking our two kids with us but wanted to spend just a little more money that normal and we booked a chalet(oh my god) it was fantastic, Jet2 flight,private taxi abroad and even sent my son a birthday card abroad .... thats brill ,as spink above said "attention to detail" thanks spink for writing the review .

We had got delayed on the train and we could have missed our flight . I called the office to see if they could help and wow they sent one of there minibuses to come and pick up us at Huddersfield in the SNOW to get us to the airport... They said they had someone in the area we got to our flight just in time ... Thanks Quartz Travel

Went on to quartztravel.com and the internet not site not the best however when I called WOW ...!!expert staff, well spoken and they CARE about you. I booked a business class seat and flew Qatar Airways and as airline they don't offer a limo transfer unlike the rivals .....Suprise Suprise, Quartz Travel have there own Jaguar's to take you to the airport included in the price they turned up in a XJ8 with fully unformed and attentive drivers.

I'm leaving the best till last I called Quartz as my mum was ill in UK and I was in South Africa I called at 2am and someone answered the phone unbelievable!! they changed my flight the next day for me and organized new transfers (you can not put a price on this service ) you may pay a little more but I would rather that than travel with some of the horrid companies on here......well done Quartz Travel
