Progess Travel Services With Travel Agent Louie Di

Progess Travel Services with travel agent Louie Di Tacchio lost my credit card information, sent my personal passport information to another person, misrepresented the travel details. Furthermore, he incorrectly entered the ticket information with the airline for my travel companions.

My friends decided to get married in the bahamas in Jan. Louie said that he would give three of us a 'special deal' where we would be getting in earlier and leaving later then the other guest. That ended up not being true. i would have said something earlier however, I only discovered that he issued the tickets a few weeks before the flight. I was speaking to my travel companions and asked if they had their tickets... they said yes and we have yours for some reason! Given that the tickets have my personal passport information, I believe this is a breach of privacy.

When my friends and I got to the airport, we discovered that the information that the airline had did not match their tickets. In order for a travel agent to book your flight he must provide your name (spelled correctly) and passport information. Once he books the tickets he sends you a confirmation with the information that was entered. Well the confirmation that he sent my friends had everything correctly however the airline said that the information was different than what we had. Apparently, Louie caught the error before but forgot to advise the airline. My friends almost didnt make it on the plane. Very stressful at 8 am in the morning.

A few months after the trip, Louie sends me an email saying that he's wholesale company lost my credit card information and did not run the charge so he was looking to charge my card. I was astonished to find out 1) that the company he deals with could be so careless with sensitive information and 2) he had my credit card information on file! I dont want anyone keeping this type of information. Anyway, I put a complaint in to the privacy commission.

Louie made no apologies for the error or the hassle. I would never recommend anyone to this person - no empathy or customer service.
