Flight Delays
Went to turkey on 21/05/2012 with page and moy. We were due to return home on 29/05/2012 from Izmir. The Turkish tour guide left the party outside Izmir airport. There was an airline strike but we were not told.The flight was over 3 hours late leaving meaning we would miss our flight in Istanbul and with no help from page and moy we had to sort out onward arrangements ourselves. We arrived late in heathrow again missing our connection to Newcastle which had been arranged as part of the holiday with page and moy
Contacting page and moy i was told it was for me to arrange another flight and claim the fare off my insurance, apparently my escorted tour was not a package holiday. Cannot understand why a well respected travel company can ignore a court of appeal decision.I paid for an "escorted" tour from Newcastle to Newcastle but was escorted only from Istanbul to Izmir. Turkey is beautiful go with someone else

In September 2009 We Booked A Trip To Apulia. The
In September 2009 we booked a trip to Apulia. The trip was advertised in the Times newspaper as direct flights with British Airways. We thought that would be ideal as the travelling times would be short as it's only a couple of hours, so we booked a hotel for the night at Gatwick with parking.
We paid in full for the holiday in March 2010, and two weeks later we received a note to say that the flights had been changed from Gatwick to Heathrow, and the carrier was now Lufthansa, with a 5 hour wait in Milan on the way home. Instead of arriving home at 7.30pm, we were now arriving at 11:30pm!
Page and Moy would not cancel the holiday without keeping the deposit, and would not offer a lounge pass, they also have not offerred a repayment as the flights would have been cheaper than BA direct flights! We are going to persue this with the advertising standards authority, and ABTA.
Whilst on holiday one of the directors at Page and Moy visited the hotel in which we were staying, and subsequently cancelled further bookings from Page and Moy (they now use a different hotel in Apulia). They did this while we were still there. Needless to say the standard of the food and service plummeted.
This is not what we would have expected from Page and Moy, they should be ashamed.
