I Booked With Midas 3 Separate Lots Of Accommodati
I booked with Midas 3 separate lots of accommodation in September 2007 after booking flights to Florida. We stayed one night in Lake Mary, onto stay with a relative for 3 nights in Chiefland and then drove up to St Petersburg for 6 nights. We then went to Orlando for 5 nights. We had no problem at all with Midas, the vochers were accepted without question and the accommodation was lovely on all 3 counts. As well as this, prior to travelling, I noticed a series of poor reviews on one of the hotels we had booked and Midas changed our reservation at no cost and without hesitation. I had Midas recommended by a relative who has used them for the last few years and I have just booked accommodation with them next year. However, I notice this year that the payments are taken and invoices rased from Hotelopia. I dont have a problem with this apart from the fact that I have had very little success dealing with their call centre and their head office is based in Spain! I hope we have the same experience when we get to the USA as last time - watch this space!

Absolutely Brilliant Prices! My Husband And I Went
Absolutely brilliant prices! My husband and I went on a flydrive holiday to Florida September 2007. We stayed with a hotel near Sanford airport the first night booked with Midas and went on to stay with a relative for two nights. We then drove to St Petes for 6 nights and stayed in a Holiday Inn - then on to Orlando another Holiday Inn. Great Service, no problems whatsoever and will use Midas again. Midas is a great site - it was recommended to us by a relative and we will certainly use them again. It enables us to plan ahead and pay as we could afford for our accommodation prior to our travels.

We Booked To Go To Florida For 2 Weeks With Midas
We booked to go to Florida for 2 weeks with Midas Hotel Network and got an amazing price through their network at the Days Inn. We found them really helpful as we needed a room with disabled access and they went out of their way to make sure we got it. Most other agencies just say they'll try but its not guaranteed which is no use! We even booked our car with them which was a real bargain.
I Had Major Problems With This Company In 2006. We
I had major problems with this company in 2006. We booked a hotel in November 2005 paid in full straight away. When we arrived in the destination the following March the hotel advised we were not booked in and they had stopped dealing with Midas as they did not pay there bill. We were relocated to wreck of a hotel and spent a week of our holiday constantly promised we would be moved and constantly passed from pillar to post, we were never relocated.I would not advise anyone to deal with this company.
We Booked A Hotel In Salou To Be With Family, Howe
We booked a hotel in Salou to be with family, however, when we arrived at the hotel we were told that there had been a mistake and there was no availability. We spoke to the travel agent at Midas who was totally unhelpful and said that they'd cancelled our booking that morning and had taken payment from our credit card! As an alternative they sent us to another hotel down the road, which although it was classed as a 4 star, it was more like a 2 star at best. On arrival at the hotel, we were given our room, only to find it was already occupied. Then we were given a different room at the back of the hotel overlooking a building site. We would never book with them again.
Hi Lucy, I have had the exact same problem with Midas, the spoiled my holiday a couple of years ago, when we arrived at the hotel we were told we were not booked in as the hotel has stopped dealing with Midas as they had not paid up(even though we had paid our bill in full 4 months earlier) I have just seen your review and I wonder whether this is something they do a lot. I had so much trouble with them. I spent 6 days of my holiday being promised we were being relocated but people kept contradicting themselves. They ruined my holiday. I am sorry this happen to you also.
