Media Travel of Harrow

I booked with media travel/truly travel, as i saw them advertised on teletext.

This was the worst experience I have ever had booking a holiday.

The person I was talking to couldn't understand what I was saying and I had to keep repeating myself. I have since found out that it in an Indian call centre.

The holiday was booked for me on the wrong dates and as I am wasn't able to go on the dates he booked I am still waiting to get my money back from them.

Please do not book with this company I ended up with no holiday and £940 of my own money taken from me.

Just retuned from a holiday to Kos and I had a worry free holiday with Media Travel.After first reviews I have had no trouble and would use them again.

If you are considering booking with these people, think again.

Prices look good at first but, rarely have I come accross such poor customer service.

We paid almost £1800 on a 5 star Greek holiday featured on Teletext.

When we got to our destination at 1:00am in the morning there was no booking, we had to make our own arrangements to get to alternative accommofation 90km away.

Trying to make contact by phone is almost impossible.

We formally complained on our return to the UK, sending all the infromation they requested, 2 months on nothing. Guess what no response.

CAB believe that is may be a scam,featureing a top class hotel but not actually booking it, and making a resevation at a completely different and inferior location at significantly lower cost

Now going through the small claims court to recover our expenses.

I was very happy with the service. I found Belinda to be very precise & courteous. She explained everything in detail & rang me back within minutes. She gave me clear contact information & references. I was e-mailed within minutes of my booking & she sent me details of the accommodation too as I was tagging onto my friends booking so I hadn't seen any of the information, which was very helpful. I would and have recommended Media travel of Harrow to friends. I don't have any negative points.

The best ever agent(BELINDA) i have spoken to. Efficient,polite,no beating round the bush.Going to refer her to everyone i come across. Well Done!

Matthew was very good whilst on the telephone, he called back when he said he would and got the holiday and price I was looking for.

Matthew gave me all the details I require to get my holiday off to the right start, he explained what I would receive through my email and what I had to do to get my boarding passes etc.

Will let you know if it all works out. Will up date once I have printedoff all the boarding passes etc.
