Lotus Tours Ltd

We went to Lotus Tours to purchase 2 round trip tickets. We wanted them for April 27th after work, something after 6pm. We were told that there were tickets available for April 28th at 12:30am. That was fine with us, and the agency booked the tickets for us. We found out 2 weeks later that the tickets were for the wrong date. They are for April 27th at 12:30am, instead of April 28th at 12:30am. We went back 3 times asking for an exchange, but we were told that we needed to pay $125 to make the exchange for the correct day. $125 out of our pockets for their mistake?! Either that or the agent suggested that we take an extra vacation day from work...again for their mistake. The agent will not admit her mistake. She kept on saying how we did not tell her a specific time, only the date of departure. Who books plane tickets without giving the agent the time you want to leave?

The second time I went back to them asking to speak to the agent's supervisor. I was told by the agent that he was not in, but he would be in the next day. OK. We visited them again the next day, and surprise surprise, there were no supervisors there. According to them there are no supervisors on-site. Everyone there is their own boss. How can there be no supervisor? Every time the agent twists and turns everything back at us. Accusing us of not spotting the mistake right away, even though we were repeatedly told by her the tickets were for Friday night. And the fact that she does this for a living and as a professional, she should have spotted her own mistake. Also, an email to their President went unanswered.

We have since found out that the person who told us that there are no supervisors is actually the President of the company. At no point during the conversation did he make that fact known.
