beware!!! do not use this company as we have never ever been scammed as such before. my parents used them to export their cargo from uk to mauritius. soobye, was the guy who dealt with parents. before the collection of the cargo, soobye, told my parents they are able to transport anything they like including food etc and he verbally said insurance is all included. he told my dad the boxes need to be of a specific size i.e 50*50*50. my dad even gave him an idea of the inventory when he went to meet him in person in his office. my parents had zero idea how a cargo shipment is carried out as it is their first time using a cargo company. he tricked my parents by not providing any legal documentation related with the shipment. it's unfortunate i was not able to deal with it as i live in france. no contract, no booking confirmation, no insurance documents, no bill of lading etc was provided to my parents and he requested a payment of £1750 to be transferred online which i paid myself. he further told my parents to liaise with star logistics ltd as they are "his" people. in mauritius, when my parents went to receive the cargo, they were mistreated, and spoken very rudely by star logistics staff. star logistics staff demanded my parents ids to receive the cargo and my parents clearly explained to them that their ids are still in process as they were making new ids after spending over 20 years in uk. they had their old mauritian id which star logistics refused to take and demanded the new id. my parents had to allocate another broker so they are able to receive their cargo. miraculously, no ids were needed to receive the cargo and my parents were able to receive their cargo without proof of ids using the new broker. out of the cargo sent via goldwing travel and received by star logistics, 2 boxes worth of £1000 are still missing. out of the £1000 goods, i have receipts of items purchased of a value of £767.44.

he refused to provide any documentation related with the shipment, star logistics were rude, arrogant & mistreated my parents!!!!

not only did they trick my parents, but they also took 2 boxes worth of £1000 items which they have refused to take liability of.

i have emailed them and they failed to provide any solution so far and it' s now going to be a month.

he apparently emailed with one single document showing they have shipped all 39 items. as they failed to provide my parents with a professional service, including providing them with all the necessary documents, i do not trust they have provided me with a genuine shipment delivery note.

anyone who would like to have emails exchanged, please do not hesitate to get in touch and i can provide all the evidence.

not only are they bad, but they are a bunch of liars and rude people; we regret deeply using their service and will advise everyone else not to use their services too.

I have been using Goldwing Travel for years now and received excellent service each time.

I think the agency has, what I would call the perfect team. I cannot thank Sa, Sh and Sh (you know who you are ;) ) enough for their patience as I have been known to call a few times and change my flight on hold. Just booked another ticket today and I am a very happy customer.

Mr John is the rudest person I have ever met in my entire life who has no manners, rude and very arrogant. This is because , as I understood he is the Manager and owner of the place. I think he should take a course in PR , his real name is not even John but if you ask so you can make a complaint via ABTA , he doesn't hesitate to put the phone down. The answer is take it or leave it I don't give a damn about customers.

Most travel agencies are competitive and therefore the difference in price between them is marginal. But booking our family holiday through Goldwing proved to be a very pleasant experience. We are what you might call the 'family from hell', we kept changing our minds on how many people were going on holiday and dates of travel, but the staff proved to be very understanding and were very pleasant all the time. Book through them and you will make a great start to your holiday.
