I Wasted £1,500 and 2 Months of My Life with FlightCatchers - Here's Why You Shouldn't Make the Same Mistake

Imagine booking a great vacation, only to have it turn into a nightmare. That's exactly what happened when I used FlightCatchers.

Here's the brutal truth:

They "cancelled" my flight a month in advance - a red flag that screams "we oversold the tickets."

Their solution? Fly a day earlier or later. Because apparently, my holiday schedule should revolve around their dodgy business practices.

Want a refund? That'll be £23 per person. Yes, you read that right. They charge YOU for THEIR mistake.

Oh, and that refund? You'll get it in 6 weeks... maybe. And only if you remember to email them after those 6 weeks

Credit card protection? Useless. ATOL coverage? A joke.

The result? I'm out £1,500 for two months, with no flights and a ruined holiday back to see family.

Don't be the next victim of FlightCatchers' incompetence. Save yourself the headache, money, and time. Book with a reputable company that values your business and respects your time.

Remember: A cheap flight isn't cheap if you never get to take it.

I repeatedly told the agent that I did not want to cancel because I don’t want to risk getting a small refund. I even told him that I am willing to use the ticket if it means that I would lose a lot of money but he kept insisting that there is an option to get the full refund which I would not have said yes to if I knew it was a risk. From his explanation on the phone, it was an option which I should have had the option to say no to. He should have just agreed for me to use my ticket and not an offer an option that would make me lose more money. I will not be able to see my family this year because of that person who shammed me and I have lost my money in the end. I did not even insist on the refund. I was just inquiring if it was possible. The man had poor communication and selfish intent. In my opinion, he should be fired. People do not deserve to be shammed by him. I have lost a lot of money and a chance to see my family because of him. He should be terminated.

Extremely Disappointed with Flight Catchers – Poor Service and Rude Staff

I’ve been dealing with Flight Catchers for the last few months, and it has been an incredibly frustrating experience. First, their system messed up my name, swapping my first and last names even though I entered the information correctly. When I contacted customer service to resolve this, instead of correcting the issue, they told me I would need to buy a new ticket, leaving my current one "wasted."

To make matters worse, one of their staff members spoke to me in a very rude and unprofessional tone. Even after I politely asked them to change their tone, the attitude remained unacceptable.

This entire process has been stressful and disappointing. Not only was the mistake their fault, but they also offered no reasonable solution and treated me poorly. I strongly advise anyone considering Flight Catchers to think twice – their lack of customer care and responsibility has made my experience miserable.

Flightcatchers radically changed my flight itinerary three days before I was due to travel. The company offered me a refund, which I accepted. This was over three months ago, and I am still owed over £700. Furthermore, the company operatives routinely mislead, and tell me that they do not have my contact details on file every time I try to elicit a response from them.

Their customer service is significantly worse than mediocre.

I would like to recommend this to all flight seekers like me i always have faced troubles by booking with other platforms first time in my life i experienced a better service was assisted from the booking process to the check-in process they were always available helped me when my schedule changed by the airline to find a better option for my travel. Book correctly and travel hassle free

They will charge you for non chargeable services and attribute them as payable to the end provider!!! All I can ask is that fellow consumers thoroughly read all of the important reviews and then make an informed decision.

DO your DUE DILLIGENCE and DO NOT let them frighten you into paying CHARGES for FREE services!!!

They have tried to shut me down on another review site to try to absolve and distance themselves from any wrongdoing, but the ANONYMOUS and untraceable name is deliberate to prevent any hostile retaliatory action from them and/or untraceable/undocumented/alien associates.

All having very recent or relatively recent reviews and detailing the terrible experiences of REAL customers just like myself. Seemingly, NONE of which, have had any justified 'resolution' as they claim to offer.

Most importantly, for discerning consumers, is to note that despite obfuscating Registered Addresses, ALL the different guises of the same group actually operate out of the same address, just do a simple search on the ATOL Register for Polani Travel and all will be revealed.

I would also urge all fellow consumers to take time to read the 1, 2 and 3 star reviews for each of the different names on Google, I have personally checked and reviews are available for all 5 organisations mentioned above ALL in reality Polani Travel Limited, sort by 'lowest' and ALL reviews are very eye opening.

It's also very questionable how very short and in some cases '1 review' reviews pop up on some review sites very shortly after a genuine negative and absolutely honest review is posted!

Don't just rely on these reviews, just do a search for either "Flightcatchers" review or "Polani Travel" review and DO your research on many of the other reputable review sites BEFORE you get stung!

I can assure you WILL find many horror stories!

Hmmm? Looks like they've been 'trying' to 'improve' their services since at least August 2016.

Some of their regular responses in order to try and deflect away from any form of culpability are: -

"Unfortunately, we have no record or recollection of your experience with us, nor can we verify anything about your identity from your name in our records."

"We are unable to locate your details in our system."

They even scrape the barrel to evade all responsibility: -

I have found written evidence of another of their victims' review under one of their many Trading Names, they try to mind violate their own 'Brothers' by attempting to guilt trip via beliefs, in order to distance themselves from their very BLATANTLY defrauding activities. Quite frankly a very low stooping blow to say the least.

Yet, these people have absolutely NO concept of any of the meanings of TRUST, HONESTY, RESPONSIBILITY and INTEGRITY.

I REALLY DO WONDER WHAT IF ANYTHING THEY DO GENUINELY TAKE SERIOUSLY?

I was let down by this flight agency when I needed help amending my transit hours during an emergency situation with my two small children. The lack of support left me stressed and stranded. Customer service needs improvement to provide better assistance in times of need. Proceed with caution when seeking help from this agency.

Worst Agency Ever!!! Stay Away

Do NOT book flights with Flighcatchers (Poland Travels)! Poor communicational skills, diabolical customer service and zero lack of empathy for their mistake.

We booked a flight for a large group over 2 bookings. This flight was later changed; rather than offering suitable alternative these shammers were trying to charge us an additional admin fee. The change was on their end, the lack of alternative flights was on their end yet the money was coming from us. Absolutely disgusting. On top of all that, the agents were showing us attitude!! How rude. We paid money for the flights; certainly did not jump on a free flight courtesy of flight catchers.

I will never book again with Flightcatchers and advise everyone do NOT book with these people!

At least he wore a mask! After booking our flights with them I was approached on approximately 25.07.23 by a rep from Flightcatchers to see if I wanted to book seats that were together on our Air India flight to Goa via Mumbai, returning to Heathrow via Delhi; I (foolishly) said yes. They quoted me one price (around about £140) and then asked me for more money when I booked them because "the prices had gone up". This turned out to be a complete lie. They eventually charged me around £155 (for seats that were free) and took about 5 minutes to arrange. When I checked the seating positions they had actually put us in (free) seats next to the toilet on a night flight!! I made them change this. I ended up paying a further £12 for seats at the front of the plane for our flight in to Dabolim (something i did myself). To add insult to injury if I had looked in to it a bit more I could have done this directly with Air India myself with the reservation code for free and the £155 they tricked me out of could have been spent on buying actual seats in much better positions. Their communication was good throughout but cancelled out by their snakey tricks. Please use these people with caution and also wait and see how many 'positive' reviews follow this one. Every negative review is followed by half a dozen positive ones; probably not a coincidence. I didn't make too much fuss at the time because (after reading other reviews) I didn't want to give them the opportunity to stitch me up

Booked flight to turkey with flight catcher

I phoned to check my case was included in my purchase

And was told that the flight was full and I might not get seated with my husband and I should book seats as they are selling out fast the price was £160 I told them it was expensive and they reduced it to £131 I said I would need to think about it but they were pushing me to purchase as it was a full flight and I would not get seated together I bought the seats .

At check in the girl told me she would of sat us together not a full flight got on the plain and there was 11 empty seat rows

I have emailed them to ask for my money back they still not answer me iv been coned by this company be careful when booking with them
