The holiday was all but faultless and it would be churlish to comment on some slight personal dislikes, which were mainly due to some of the local conditions I witnessed.

All the staff on board MS Monica, performed with a large degree of excellence, with particular reference to our guides Amir and Walid, restaurant and bar staff and the willing men who attended to our rooms.

Peter and the rest of the management have welded together a team, which works smoothly and efficiently, for the benefit of the passengers and all are to be commended.

An interesting itinerary, spread over the whole week, was complimented by sufficient rest periods. First class, tasty and plentiful food, in classy surroundings provided the icing on the cake. I certainly have and will continue to recommend this holiday.

To try and describe the wonders of the Temples, Tombs and ancient monuments, is beyond any superlatives that I may command. Suffice it to say – the ancients certainly knew what they were about and Egypt’s wonders should be on everyone’s “must see list”.
