unfortunately we only got to know about your company muthalif tours after we hat already spent one week in anuradhapura during which time we had used the service of tow other drivers not only did they charge us higher price for the tour they took us on but their vehicles neither met european / american safety standards ( seatbelts were not available ) nor were they in good condition as with both drivers the van broke down which caused us to wait a long time in at the side of the road

We recently completed a segment of a world cruise which included Jordan and Egypt. Due to problems with the cruise line (Princess) we had no idea whether we had any excursions booked, so we booked our own with Egyptlastminute.com - it was the best decision we made as far as this trip was concerned.

We had three tours: Petra with our guide Achmed and driver Emad; Luxor, with George and Hammada; and Alexandria with Kimo and Ahmed .

All three trips were wonderful, incredible, and almost surreal - we actually saw some of the wonders of the world. We had personal service and personal guides that gave us all the information we could possibly take in. They were - without fail - friendly, polite, and a lot of fun to be with (my spouse has a 'strange' sense of humor and these guys were fine with him, and he had a ball with them).

Not only did they take us to see the awesome sites available in these cities, they made sure we had sustenance: plenty of water - critical in these hot environs - as well as meals in both Egyptian stops which were unique and gave us a feel we were amongst the locals, and not just with a bunch of other tourists.

One other thing that was great: the guides in each case helped us with the vendors. We do understand that these people want to earn a living, but they can be very pushy and insistent. All three guides helped us with this situation and made sure we weren't mobbed - it was great.

Also, when we got back on ship, we found that we had seen things that those on the ship's tours did not visit, and we were able to dictate our own schedule, instead of waiting around for up 100 people to finally decide to get back on the bus. In one case we got back 6 hours ahead of the ship's tour groups.

What was best, though, was the ability to actually meet the locals. We will carry the memories of the friendliness and humor of both the Egyptians and the Jordanians for the rest of our lives.
