A Great Experience
I have spent a few holidays with EJ. I can tell it was a great experience for my whole family, kids and adults as well. The staff was very accomodating,polite, nice and responsible. The food was excellent, the programs and the outings were very good as well. My kids were busy all day long and since them they keep asking me to spend another Pesach there (which I cannot do by now for personal reasons. I really recommend it to anyone.
Great Intentions Poor Execution
We spent pessah at the gallia palace hotel in Tuscany. The hotel was beautiful and the staff both efficient and accommodating.
The food was good but the menus repetitive, and by the end of the stay was beginning to run out. Breakfast however was a bit of a disaster, apparently the kitchen was entirely bassari and parve which meant no real cooking for breakfast.
All in all these minor setbacks would have been of no consequence if the agency had shown more professionalism. The food started to run out very fast. Contrary to what was advertised the babysitters had no activities planned and were not even there half of the time.
But worst of all, when confronted with our ( legitimate) complaints, rather than adress them or apologize, the owner of the agency chose to walk away in the middle of the conversation and to ignore us until the end of the stay.
Overall we felt from the organizers both warmth and genuine good intentions but a serious lack of professionalism. They have great potential and we hope they will be better next time.
We are sorry that our program wasn't as good as of what you expected.
We are for sure already working in order to improve the breakfast buffet and the kid's club.
We only could say, our loyal customers knows very well, we try to accommodate every single guest's request, but if there are some of the things we are not ready to accept is the arrogance of some people.
If the owner just "chose to walk away in the middle of the conversation" is because some guests allowed themselves to scream to the management during the dinner, in front of other guests, which is very "unprofessional", only because 1 type of yogurt among the 7 offered was not available anymore.
Obviously we apologize for this inconvenience but we expect form our guests more humanity, even if we can understand their position.

Buyer Beware
You may be interested in the ethics and practices of EJ Kosher events based in Italy .. THey are presently advertising SUMMER 5774 holidays (GLATT KOSHER).
They similarly advertised PESACH 2014 in Tuscany . The only little downside is at short notice, with no adequate explanation they cancelled. This left customers with the difficulty of last minute alternative arrangements and with substantial financial loss as whilst they returned direct payments , they declined any compensation for the loss incurred for pre-paid flights.
There only comment was that they had the right to cancel even ONE day before Pesach .
Their food may indeed be GLATT, the rest speaks for itself.

We are sorry for what happened but our terms and conditon, signed by every single customer, says clearly : "In case of cancellation of the program by EJ Kosher Events only the amount paid will be returned. There will be no other refunds."
We sent back the deposit paid to all our guests and no one has claimed other money since they knew what they have signed when they booked.
Anyhow, in order to be forgiven, we sent to Mr Rind a voucher to spend during the summer 2014 in our Sardinian hotel.
