From the moment I spoke to one of their specialists, a British guy who lived in Cuba, I knew these people understood Cuba. I had made a plan in my head of what I wanted to do and see but their input, advice and recommendations improved the plan and we ended up having the most amazing holiday. Service both in the UK and from their staff in Cuba was top notch with prompt replies to my enquiries and questions and great practical advice such as where to eat and which bars had the best bands. I'd really recommend Cuba Direct for anyone who wants to visit that wonderful island.

Great time in Cuba though had to do most of it on our own when there.

The fight was ok, though would not use Virgin again, Cuba Direct meet us at the airport and sorted a taxi to take us to our Casa. This was ok till the driver dropped us off outside the incorrect Casa and drove off without a word. We then found we had no phone so I had to deal with it myself and luckily did manage this.

We met the rep the next day in a local hotel and that is when it started to go wrong, he never finished a sentence and gave incorrect information and a map that an eight-year-old may have put together.

We then waisted hale for the day looking for somewhere that did not exist and we had to find somewhere as we had no local money.

We never sore another rep until the last few days when we were in an all-inclusive hotel.

So no I would not recommend Cuba Direct unless you intend to go to one hotel and don't move, we were in a number of towns over two weeks and the only thing they did well was the fact that the taxi did turn up for every transfer.

He was was rude and arrogant with poor customer skills, as though he was paying for you! With poor telephone mannerism impatience to listen carefully to your needs and most of all in a hurry to extract money from you! This company deserves no ratings! Not at all recommended!

I couldn't recommend Cuba Direct and found them amateurish. If you use them pray nothing goes wrong as they will do nothing to help you. They had no interest in our welfare and actually put us at risk. They didn't listen to any of my requirements and just quote terms and conditions back at you.

This agency charges double. I advise you to do your research before choosing them.

Not helpful and simply don't care once they have your money.

Had our first holiday to Cuba and had the best time . We booked a self drive holiday with two cars as we had seven in our group ! It turned the best way to see the real Cuba . Everything went smoothly all picks ups on time at airports! Cuba is a beautiful country and the people are very friendly. We stayed in casas which were basic but clean with a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning ! Saying that the one we stayed at in Havana was more like a boutique hotel and would use again and would recommend to anyone . We did find eating out a big challenge as the food Is not good and overpriced but Cuba is a feast for the eyes so just put that to one side . Cuba Direct put a great holiday together for us and it made it easy for us to step out the normal holiday places to see and find things on our own . It is a holiday that has given me great memories

Thanks again Cuba Direct what a great time my family had we have not been to any other places like it

The people , sugar plantations,cattle ,horses ,rum ,cigars , and real cowboys I could go on but I think people should go and find out for themselves

As a traveler over 60 I traveled alone to Cuba on 6th February 2017 for 2 weeks I had a very good holiday and was very happy with the itinerary that Seymour devised for me.

Old Havana was great and the Casa accommodation very good but my holiday really went up a gear when I met my amazing tour guide and driver. Their knowledge was vast, their personalities as sunny as the weather and couldn't have been more helpful. They told of some off the beaten track bars and restaurants which they thought would suit me and they did. They took time to find out which of the attractions would interest me most and took me there.

At the end of our time together I was sad to say goodbye to them as they had made sure I got the most out of our time together. They dropped me at my accommodation and made sure it was acceptable at each destination before leaving for the evening and nothing was too much trouble for them.

if they are an example of the guides and drivers used by Cuba Direct I cannot recommend them enough.

There was one problem with my holiday which was sorted out to my satisfaction very quickly.

Cuba Direct, our advice avoid them, stay away from them, find another travel agent to go to Cuba. We enjoyed Cuba, great place, but not thanks to Cuba Direct arrangements. Yes, they managed to do few good things, but at times tours that were paid for didn't happen, on occasion transport that was due to take us somewhere didn't come so we had to arrange our own, casa were changed at the last minute, on one occasion even on our arrival. Well, all part of the travelling experience to a country like Cuba, but even bigger shock is their unwillingness to refund things they didn't provide when you get home. We have been trying to get money back from them for months. They don't have ABTA registration, they use feefo for feedback, but that only seems to get sent to those willing to provide positive feedback. It's a shame as we were under the impression that they would be great for holiday in Cuba.

I'd used the company before, so this time I emailed my specifications, and these were met - but I was offered a couple of alternatives, which turned out to be just right. The organisation was quick and efficient, with email confirmation every step of the way. The choices offered were good value for money, comparing well with the package tours available from the 'standard' travel agents.

The holiday itself was marvellous (Cuba always is!), but knowing that all the details had been taken care of was a bonus.

Next time I go, it'll be arranged by Cuba Direct.
