Wonderful time on the Patagonia Torres del Paine 9 Day Circuit. The Eco Camp Domes were a fantastic way to start and end the trip. The food there was excellent and the hospitality, kindness and thoughtfulness of all of the staff was outstanding. Each day was exactly as described in the itinerary. That isn't always the case I find in my travels. Sometimes the website describes things differently - but your website was perfect. It allowed me to correctly prepare and I knew exactly what to bring with me. We all thought that having the longest hiking day first was a great idea. And we were so lucky that every day we had sunshine! Most unusual. Out tents were wonderful along the way and the food was also. The most spectacular of course is at the end of the trip with the hike to the Torres del Paine mountains themselves. Wow! We had 2 most excellent guidesand I couldn't have been happier with them. They were both knowledgeable, very caring, very careful and I can't imagine better guides exist! The only suggestion that I have is to recommend that people bring Yak Traks - these are not the same as crampons - they are very light weight and have threads of metal over rubber/plastic that you slip over your boots - very lightweight and packable and very inexpensive. Having these would have helped us on Day 4 when crossing John Gardner Pass as it was VERY slippery. In addition, I am hoping that the government is considering how to limit the number of hikers on this route because there was one day where independent hikers had nowhere to set up camp and were told to move on. But, they had already come from another place who told them the same! If you let hundreds of people come in to hike they have to have an appropriate number of campsites otherwise people will begin to camp in places that may be under restoration and this would be devastating to the flora and fauna.
