In more than 30 years of travel experience Brazilian Travel was the worst experience yet. the people on the phone geuinely appeard nice - they seemed to try and I don't know how much was the fault of TAM - the Brazilian airline on which we flew - but the experience was awful: Tickets booked on flights that turned out not to exist. Prices quoted that later changed. Reservations that the airlines couldn't find - changed record locator numbers - seats booked that disappeared. More changed locator numbers. Reservations with last and first names reversed. AM tickets that turned out to be PM and more - Everyone did eventually got to Rio on time but it would not have happened had I not invested hours and made more than a dozen phone calls.
Every single step of this process was painful
