Bath Travel

Beware of buying a holiday from this branch of Bath Travel.

We asked for a holiday somewhere hot and suggested Egypt. She couldn't find a reasonably priced flight so she said she would look at an alternative resort. She suggest turkey.

However, unbeknown to us there is a considerable difference in temperature at this time of year between these two locations. This is not an alternative. We trusted her as she is allegedly the expert.

She just wanted to get a sale and did not consider if our wants were being met.

We were refused a refund on the grounds that there is no definition of 'hot'.

That is not the point. We we're mislead regarding the climate and there is a 14 degree difference at the moment between Egypt and Turkey. We assumed that we would be in our swimsuits. We certainly won't be at 18 degrees.

She said that the room had air-con "essential" in her words. However, the normal setting for air-con is between 18-22 degrees which is the same temperature as outside in Turkey at this time of year. This was misleading information.

We were not given the opportunity to make an informed decision and Bath Travel did not admit that their adviser made a mistake.

I warn anyone booking with this company to think twice before they trust their employees.
