My husband and I took a decision to take a wine tour to Georgia that is known as the motherland of wine. We chose Progress Tour since they had sent us a well-planned itinerary. Our priority on this tour was comfort and quality and the travel company met all our requirements. The price did not include air tickets. As the representative explained we might find cheaper tickets ourselves and we did really. Thinking you can save a good amount of money in this way. The tour guide was waiting for us at the airport. He was a very friendly person with good knowledge of his work. There was not a question he did not have an answer to. He offer private sessions to discuss our trip and made our travel to attractions safe and hassle free. I think Progress Tour would gain much due to its great stuff.

The hotels booked by the company was 4* star but not so expensive as the other 4* hotels in the city. There was no need to check in – we were given our room cards right away. Our luggage showed up at our room shortly thereafter. Breakfasts were really good. I have never tasted such delicious dishes before this tour. The inland transport was very comfortable. Tour guide provided one bottle of mineral water while driving. Though the tour included most meals but some dinners were left on our own that gave us possibility to meet more locals. It must be said that Georgians are very friendly people.

All interesting places were included in the tour package. We took many excursions through Kakheti that is a main wine-making region of Georgia. On the ride, the tour guide explained everything we needed to know. Local guides spoke English, fluently, and we had no problems understanding them. (Not always the case in the Galapagos with other groups). They were extremely knowledgeable and we asked them ridiculous amounts of questions – all of which they were able to answer!

On the last day the company arranged a farewell party. It was that amazing Georgian sufra with its traditional elements.

The departure procedures were just as nice as our arrival. We were transfered to the airport by the company's car. The tour guide came with us to the airport and made sure everything was ok.

After we returned home, I received an email from one of the Progress Tour representatives welcoming me back home, and asking about the trip. This was the first time in all my travels that anyone had done so. We made a perfect choice while picked up Progress Tour.
