What can I say. Nothing but the best with my day trip to Alexandria. With my driver and my tour guide.

She educated me so much about the sites in Alexandria so much History about Egypt from its influence from Roman and Greece. The restaurant was fantastic with the Mediterranean Sea.

Great tour looking forward to booking another tour soon.

This tour was worth every cent we spent.

Our amazing guide spoke beautiful english, he understood all our questions. I want to pack him into my luggage and take him with me, his knowledge is astounding. And I love history, and had read up, and he taught me even more.

Our driver has my utmost respect, I cannot recall his name, driving skills to rival any, and both gents we humorous and professional and courteous and chivalrous for a very long day during a day of fasting. Out of respect, we chose not to have lunch, and they worked right through.

Best tour company, no doubt.

Horrendous experience with EMO tours. Money and cards taken deep within from my suitcase which was in the boot of the car all day, left in a bag with driver for an extended period. But also the tour guide as I went in some places alone and they dropped me off and picked me up.

One card was left but was used several times in Egypt for online shopping and to connect an account with paypal. So I presume they took a photo. Luckily my bank knew it was a suspicious transaction. The card that was taken was used within an hour of them dropping me off at the airport. And my bank said all the destinations were nearby the EMO office in Cairo.

Not happy at all. Especially as the tour was $90 and I gave a good tip.

I've already reported this to the local police, Egyptian tourism association, Ministry of tourism and want to warn other travellers across the online community.

On 28 December I booked this tour for the following day on Viator booking website. Late that same evening, I saw a text from this tour operator advising that they could not operate this trip for us and I needed to cancel on Viator & they promised a full refund.

As directed by the tour operator, I cancelled the trip via Viator. They promised a full refund (nearly €300) that was never received to date. They ignored my phone calls and texts. They never replied or acknowledged the emails I sent proving cancellation and asking for a refund. After nearly 2-weeks they replied to a text saying they never received the cancellation email despite me sending proof of the email several times via email & Whatsapp.

Next they told me to contact Viator for a refund. Currently chasing this up with Viator.

Not once did Emo Tours ever apologise for cancelling last minute, ruining our evening plans with the stress of trying to find another tour, and were brazenly denying my refund.

Do yourself a favour, book tours elsewhere. This company is not honest or reliable.

On 2/22/17 my wife and I took the Emo Tour of Luxor. The tour included The Valley of the Kings, Karnak, Hatshepsut Temple.

Emo supplied us with a guide, Shima, who was fabulous. She made the tour and the history come alive.

This tour was a bit pricey, but worth every penny..

We would recommend this tour to anyone going to Luxor. You will not be disappointed.
