Just returned from this tour that I went on with my parents. I thought it was incredible! I had a really lovely time on my first holiday to America. You get to see and do so much, that I can't even believe it really happened! The helicopter ride at the Grand Canyon is a must! It's an incredible experience!

The optional excursions in Scottsdale to Rustler's Rooste, San Francisco's Chinatown and Swiss Louis are great mainly because you get a chance to really mix with the other people on the tour and they were all so friendly and fun. So I would recommend those!

In terms of hotels we really disliked the Millenium Biltmore. They had the least friendly desk staff of all the hotels we visited. Moreover, we had issues with them that took ages for them to resolve. I won't go into it as it's a long story but basically they showed very poor management! The lobby is beautiful, however the rooms are not! Definitely in need of refurbishment but at least they were clean. We paid for a room for 3 people and expected the room to have 2 beds, one double for my parents and a single for me. However, the double was more like a bigger single so the hotel offered a king size bed for my parents and they would put in a fold out bed for me. This was a bit annoying as all the other hotels had two good sized double beds in the room one for me and one for my parents.

Doubletree in Flagstaff is a great hotel as is the Holiday Inn Golden Gateway in San Francisco.

Our tour director John was so lovely and helpful! Always friendly and had a great sense of humour. The coach driver also called John was a lovely person and a very good driver and kept the coach spotless. They both really helped make the experience unforgettable.

Overall, it is a bit pricey but really worth it and I would highly recommend it! Hoping to go again one day!

Had a wonderful tour.the tour was wonderfully organised,the scenery was breathtaking,the coach outstanding,the hotels were excellent,the mix of busy days and do what you like days was perfect.we had a great mix of ages and nationalities,and the the tour leader and bus driver norm made every effort to ensure a wonderful trip was had by all.some people went on to do the Alaskan cruise which was also outstanding.this tour represents outstanding value for money compared to what other companies charge for similar tours.

National parks and Canyon country tour - May/June 2010. This was a great tour - saw lots of places and both tour guide and coach driver were great. Had enough time at all the stops enabling everyone to take the photos they wanted. Weather mixed, due to time of the year, but didn't spoil our holiday. Would recommend to anyone. If you travel in May take some warm clothes for the Yellowstone area.

In summer 2010 I took the Golden West Adventure tour with Cosmos Tourama and was an excellent holiday choice. The tour was very enjoyable and with lots of variety. The tour director (Linda) was extremely helpful, humerous and knowledgeable of the places the group visited. The only downside was the hotel in Sonora (Inns of California) however some of the other hotels on this tour lead to a very enjoyable stay. A great thing about this tour is the included trip to Alcatraz Island and the optional excursions. Some of the places I got to visit on this tour were fantastic (examples: the grand canyon, yosemite national park). I would highly recommend this tour, it's great value for money , a fun experience and you get to see some remarkable places.

Alaska & Yukon tour left UK 21st July arrived Anchorage at 9.30pm after long day travelling. Tour began the following day and was fabulous from the word go.The Tour Guide, Paul and our driver, Don were first class and between them knew everything to know about the areas visited.We had to make a detour of over 700 miles due a road closure caused by landslide,but they were not phased and we arrived safely at our destination, having been wined and dined by the company all day long! A first class tour, destination was fantastic, all round a great holiday.

had a fantastic holiday with cosmos.went on the canada rockies tour.every thing was perfect,the tour lady,the bus and driver,the locations the atmosphere.we were offered extra tours which was a nice touch,a raft tour,caynon walk,sea plane ride etc...

The tour lady was great!she knew all the history,names of mountains and was allways happy to help.

it would have been nice if some of our meals were included with the tour because it worked out to be quite expensive in the end.even if it was breakfast.but other than that had a fantastic time and would go on another cosmos holiday,infact planning another one allready!

First 2 days a waste, as the plane landed at Casablanca to off-load some passengers, then took off for a late arrival at Marrakech. Here we stayed over-night before getting up early to travel for 4 hours by bus to Casabalanca!

Food fair to good; scenery fantastic. Best was the tour director, who was mine of information and a great source of jokes.

I should have taken more water-proof clothing, though!

I must say from start to finish our holiday went well. Our hotels were lovely and clean and the staff couldn't do enough for us. We can't thank Cosmos enough for a job well done and look forward to our next holiday.

We came home feeling we needed another holiday, the trips were very rushed, we didn't have time to see much.

We felt that 10 days would be much better than the seven, we would have liked longer in the beauty spots such as Lucca, Sienna and San Gimagnano.

The wine tasting trip was rather a waste , we spent two hours travelling and were only at the vineyard a very short time.

This was our first Cosmos bus holiday and will be the last.

23 on the coach we were split into two hotels one being better than the other. Our hotel Wittlesbach had very nice rooms but no lounge area. The food was dreadful there was no quality and very little of it, poor, school dinners would best discribe it. Everything was from a freezer or packet mix. We had to go out and buy food affterwards to fill up. We complained and it improved slightly on the 5th day.

Due to the group being divided we discovered that the Hotel Bold where the Archers group were staying had a lounge and garden and very good food, 4 courses and coffee to finish this was very upsetting for our part of the group.

Our tour guide was ok apart from the reference to tips a couple of times and being misled on our last evening in Munich. We were unable to go on the Bavarian evening due to lack of support so 6 of us decided to go alone he phoned in advance and said he couldn't book but it was ok if we turned up early. When we arrived we were turned away as there was a private function on we were very diappointed Did he really make that phone call!!

We enjoyed the tour visits to castles and churches The tour guide was very informative also making sure no one got lost.

The food spoilt the holiday!!!!!
