I recently used this company to get my visa for China.

I got the visa ok and in good time - posted passport to them Sat/arrived at their office Monday and they posted back to me on the Fri/received Monday.

On the website it does say to call them if no email received after 3 days of posting passport (I assume to acknowledge receipt(?))...as no email was received I called their freephone number and the first time it was not answered, the second time I had a recorded message saying I'd been barred from calling that number. I then rang their landline and when answered the line was terrible, but it could have been VOIP their end I guess which never has great reception. I was unsure if I'd filled in certain parts of the application correctly or that I'd supplied enough information and the person I spoke to sweepingly said it'll be fine without checking my particulars and was unwilling to answer some other questions becase he'd have to get my details out of the filing cabinet. He told me the visa would be collected from the embassy and posted to me on the following Monday, to be received Tue. I really was after assurance that they had physically checked my application before submitting it to the embassy as my departure date would not allow for a hold up but was not sure this had happened. I must admit there was a moment when I thought - dodgy telephone lines, no communication, unwillingness to confirm details...is it kosher? But rest assured all is well, the passport/visa was posted back to me before their estimate so service was prompt and efficient in actually getting the job done but communication was very poor.

My only real concern would be that if there was a problem with the application, at what stage would they contact you?
