I booked an oven installation on behalf of my 81 year old grandmother, a 3rd party company LMR hearing services cane out to complete an installation.
8 months later my grandmother had her boilers serviced and the engineer noticed that there was a gas leak from the poor installation and immediately disconnected the oven.
So technically my grandmother has been living with a potentially dangerous for 8 months. I contacted Able Group earlier today and they only guarantee workmanship for 6 months....... therefore unable to assist unless we pay again???
A guy was condescending as he said "after work was completed" he doesn't know what could have happened, I said "c'mon my gran is 81 what could she do to the oven".
I have also asked for in writing that they only guarantee their shoddy work for 6 months..... low and behold I have nothing yet.
AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS, PAY THE EXTRA AND GET APPLIANCES INSTALLED CORRECTLY AND SAFELY.
