Romania is truly beautiful and Travel Maker only emphasised it's beauty. Being on a small tour with less that a dozen people really made me feel at home as I was able to ask personal questions without the need to wait for a bajillion people! Even better, my tour guide was a fun, loving and really understanding person who was able to explain a lot of different things about not only what was prescribed in the tour but also about the surrounding areas and other miscellaneous facts! Travel Maker really helped to make this Romanian trip a memorable experience! Kudos to our guide Valentin Paun.

This tour was really fantastic; the friendliness and professionalism of our guide, Serban Riga, made our visit to the beautiful castles of Peles and Bran and to the historical center of Brasov truly unforgettable.

The bus was new and comfortable, equipped with air conditioning; the driver was very friendly and helpful; everything was perfect; Serban gave us a lot of information about all the places to visit; he was attentive to our needs from the beginning to the end of the journey. certainly an experience to be repeated very soon!!

I booked the 'Two castles in one day' tour and was delighted with the experience. Serban, the guide, was both knowledgeable and friendly. He provided interesting information at both castles and was kind enough to stop on the journey so photos could be taken of spectacular scenery. The group ate together in a picturesque restaurant with views of Dracula's castle as Serban knew we would all appreciate the scenery.

We were a small group so we decided to explore Brasov altogether. Serban showed us a lane found in the Guiness Book of Records as one of the narrowest in the world.

The whole day was incredible and one I would recommend to anyone looking to explore Romania.

My wife and I went on the "Two Castles in One Day" tour from Bucharest and I could not have been more happy with it. Both castles are so different that it's worth seeing each one. Our guide "Valentin Paun" was very friendly and informative. He had a very impressive knowledge of the country, sites we went, and he was easy to talk to. The tour is a very long day so be prepared for it and you will be tired at the end of the day (but worth it). I can't stress enough that if you are in Bucharest and thinking about seeing the countryside and Transylvanian that you should consider this tour!

A full 12 hour day of great service and great sights! Our tour guide Serban Riga was the BEST he is very knowledgeable of all things from beginning to the end I was getting filled in information and keeping the group in good spirits with his jokes! The castles were very impressive and filled with so much history. The drive was bit long but no complaints the tour is worth the full day. I would do this tour again or any tour with Travel Maker as long as Serban was my guide again!

We took the two castles in one day tour. The taxi picked us up promptly at our hotel and took us to the main pick up area where we met the rest of our group and our tour leader. The bus was comfortable and both the driver and tour leader polite and knowledgeable.

Throughout the the day the tour leader worked hard to ensure that everyone was enjoying themselves and that we had all the information that we needed to get the most out of the day.

I wish I could give the name of our tour operator to recognise him but this site advises against it. Our tour operator picked us up at our hotel and took us on a journey to Transylvania. Our tour was 5 ppl total, 2 Canadians and 3 Americans. He was incredibly friendly and informative and also a bit comical. As he drove, he shared a lot about the history of his country and was interested in answering all of our questions. He took us to some great restaurants where we could eat some local Transylvanian fare! As these are top tourist destinations, the line-ups can be long to the attractions but he was able to get us in without waiting in the line-ups. I greatly appreciate the length he went to make us comfortable. My top favourites of this trip was: seeing Peles Castle, Brasov (incredibly beautiful town), and the scenic highway tour on the way back to Bucharest from Bran. I recommended this trip to some of my colleagues who will be visiting Bucharest for work and even suggested that they ask for the same tour operator because he was top-notch!

I have been told that Transylvania was a magic place, but what really made the difference in my experience of this amazing place was the great guide I had for this trip: Gabriel Florea. You cannot find a better guide than this kind, careful and extremely competent man. He guided us through the main places of interest in the region, showing us what really deserves to be noticed, explaining the history of the country with all the details we were looking for. He is experienced in everything related to food, culture, art and history of the towns you will visit during this tour. We saw forests and castles that you can dream about as a kid when reading fairy tales, slept in a great hotel and ate in great places (once, also with a spectacular view on the castel of Bran). What else can I say? Go for it!

Gabriel, our guide, was extremely informative and enthusiastic guide. I gained a lot of knowledge on the history and insights of a Romanian National on Romania and its history. We were in a very comfortable vehicle and the pace of the tour was just right. It was very entertaining. I would do
