At least since 2009, Unilever got rid of the unique, mild eugenol/menth, non-minty flavour which was akin to the dentists paste, and the waiting room.
Instead, they brought in unoriginal mint-flavoured paste. Other than Johnson & Johnsons Euthymol, EVERY other toothpaste is mint, so why get rid of it?
SR (used to be red and white stripe freshmint) was taken over by mentadent and that's all you can buy in UK now. It's wick.
