Great deal from Telephones Online :) Excellent phone, like the colour and the style, very retro. It's very easy to use, looks fantastic and works a dream. Limited Ring Count – Sagemcom Sixty – Answer Machine
I have a SAGEMCOM Sixty purchased here in Australia for Australian use.

I cannot increase the RING COUNT from 3 rings to 7 rings (the Sixty maximum) before the Answer Machine kicks in.

I have followed the manual, changed the ring count to 7. It shows 7 on the screen but ring only 3 times – a total of 11 seconds!!!

I have noticed that this is a common problem around the world, especially in the UK. According the SAGEMCOM UK Community web page,
the solution was to reset the base, and to insure that UK was selected. Apparently this fixed the problem in the UK.

As I am in Australia (the land of Kangaroos not to be mistaken for Austria) – that option is not available.

However, I have reset the base, added the default code “0000”, and chosen Australia as the country. (Note I only have the choice of Australia or New Zealand on my phone). But this has not rectified the problem.

Without a solution, my only option is to discard my beautiful SAGEMCOM Sixty for a phone that allows me time to answer it.

The current 11 seconds allocated by my SAGEMCOM Sixty is ridiculous and unusable.

I have searched the many SAGEMCOM online communities, but although the limited ring tone is a very common problem, I have found no solution for Australia.
I have even telephoned your help line in Vienna, Austria – a very expensive international call, but they were unable to provide a solution.

In fact, all they could say was that I probably had a faulty phone. I know this is not the case, as the ring count problem is well documented around the world on the many chat pages.

Please I beg of you for a solution. I WANT to love my SAGEMCOM SIXTY, as it is a beautiful looking appliance. But alas it just does not work anywhere near as good as it looks. Please help.
