I recently ordered a 2 year subscription online and paid with my debit card so that my daughter could receive the promo gift with purchase. The 10.00 was debited from my account the next day. I started receiving invoices for the magazine and was told that I had to prove to them that the money came out of my account.

I spent over 6 hours on the phone trying to get the proof I needed so that they would quit sending me invoices.

The support I received on the phone was poor. I do not understand why they could not research their records rather than make me call the bank to get a statement and then fax it to them.

I really think that this is a way for them to get you to trick people into over paying for a subscription.
