Do Not Ever consider trusting Victor Valentine with providing suits for your wedding day!! Two days prior to my wedding,the person I dealt with at Victor Valentine informed me he could not provide the tailored suits I had paid for months previously. He is completely unprofessional and unreliable. The owner, is not a tailor himself and I take strong issue with the claim his company is 'perfect for weddings'. I do not want anyone else to go through the experience I went through so close to the big day. Do NOT use Victor Valentine. (Oh, and I had to chase him for my money back - for which there was no compensation nor any offer of one.)

I would advise anyone and everyone to stay as far away from Victor Valentine as you can, and spend your money somewhere you can get a half decent suit and customer service. I ordered a suit from Victor Valentine over four months ago. I required it for an event around Christmas time, but despite frequent messages and emails assuring me it would arrive soon, it did not get to me until the beginning of February! This despite it being advertised as "ready for immediate despatch" When I bought it. The trouble didn't end there. The suit did not fit in the slightest - all the measurements on the labels were correct but that didn't translate in the fabric. The chest was far too large, sleeves were almost at my elbow, and trousers loose and draping on the floor. Add to this the poor quality of seams, and I sent this cobbled together tent back straight away for a full refund. It has now been over a month since returning it, and still no refund. It is a substantial amount of money I am waiting on, and despite assurances the refund will be imminent, not a penny has been received by me. The suits are poor quality, and the service is even worse. I will never be dealing with this company again, I advise you to do the same.

I ordered two suits to be made to measure 20 days quoted , so i should have received mid January, it is now end of February and no sign of the suits, Yesterday I went to the shop, they were full of apologies , I was refunded my @400.00 deposit, with a promise that i would get the suit one day I have since looked at the reviews for this company, and see this is a long standing on going problem so my advice id do not order from this company, I have to say the ready made suits look amazing quality, just shame about the service

I ordered two made to measure suits back in December, and paid a large deposit of £400.00 , and was advised that the suits would be ready in 20 days, Ie about January the 10th, It is now the end of January, i have called the number many times with no answer, and i have mailed on two occasions, once to cancel my order and request a refund of deposit, As one of the events i ordered a suit for has passed, so i had to go else where to buy a ready made suit, and it is the same situation for another event this weekend, I sent another mail yesterday, again requesting back my deposit, and so far they have been silent, and still not answering the phone, at best this is very bad service , at worst i am not sure if the company is still trading, They have made excuses about the email address is not connected at the shop, but this was weeks ago, My advice for the time being, is not to order and pay on line, until you have made contact, and have assurances they have the sale stock and are still trading, I have already advised if i am not refunded with in 14 days, Then i will take proceedings to recover my deposit, It is sad i have to go to these lengths with such a company with great products,

I ordered some of V V's clearance items from their website with hopes of providing my son a nice suit for prom, but I never received the items ordered. I had one response from an email which never resulted in receiving my items. Any other communication was never responded to. Therefore since I never received the suit items, I can't comment on the quality of the product, but the customer service was next to nothing. When I tried to communicate through PayPal(after many personal attempts), there was no response. I was glad PayPal helped me to get my money back. I wish I had read more reviews. If there was a problem with how I ordered or my order in general, I would love to have heard from them to hear their needs and make decisions regarding the purchase. I cannot recommend this company.

sent for a suit for a wedding took 6weeks to come jacket to small waist coat to small trousers to small and it doesn't look like the suit I ordered it was a lot darker

Received my suit today and it fits perfect! I'm getting married in 3 weeks and I know I cut it close but it was worth the wait! I was going for a vintage look with more of a modern fit and Victor Valentine delivered! I've bought quit a few suits from well known stores and the quality behind my Victor Valentine Herringbone Suite is that of suits 2 to 3 times what i paid for mine! (Granted, I used a discount PROMO CODE and got %25 Off) Exeptional Suit! Absolutely love it's vintage look and feel. Will definitely be ordering more!

I really can't recommend Victor Valentine enough. I ordered 3 tweed suits for my wedding and they have been very proactive in getting everything sorted in good time. He's a lovely guy and it was a real pleasure going to meet him when we had our final fit. Even though I gave him the wrong measurements initially, he re-made the suits at no extra cost to me. I received the suits yesterday and they all fit perfectly, the fabric is high quality and the finish really is exceptional. Great work!!!

With my brothers impending wedding coming up, I was struggling to find the right suit and came across Victor Valentine. I was worried due to the item being handmade that I would run out of time and that the item wouldn't be ready. I couldn't of been more wrong, I contacted Victor Valentine before placing the order to express my concerns and was reassured that it would be with me within 20 days, in fact it arrived sooner than I though. The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic and the suit itself fits perfectly. Wonderful service and suit and I shall be using them again in the future.

Found the website through Google, liked the look and price of the suits. After an initial fitting, follow months of being dicked around and chasing further appointments and updates on delivery. I believed the stories of it being 'manic'. When I finally received my suit two weeks before my wedding it was still completely oversized - trouser length covered my feet, jacket too broad and long. There had actually been no tailoring at all. I had to get it altered at a proper tailors and even after that I ended up buying a brand new suit anyway because the original was such a terrible cut. This guy is a complete showman. Do not be fooled by what this company offer and take your money and better judgement elsewhere.

Very speedy and efficient service! The suit was very good quality and Victor Valentine were more than happy to help with any queries. I would defiantly recommend to a friend!

A bought a blue herringbone tweed suit and in is the most comfortable best fitting suit I have. The fabric is stunning and it is very well made. It has a modern looking cut and fit like no other suit out there. The service is fantastic too. I would highly recommend and I will be ordering another from vv.

Pros:I found suits on ebay, called and visited their office with my best man for fitting after ordering samples. Here Damon fitted myself and the best man offering advice and tailoring suggestions. This service was second to none; after working in a leading suit shop myself I was very impressed with both materials and product knowledge. Suits were ordered and my best man and I left thinking it was both all too easy and very excited. Some weeks followed, the suits were made and we went back for a final fitting. Here Damon wasn't completely satisfied with the finish and so sent them away for some final tweaking, which was fantastic. Suits were delivered to our houses and my best man and I were looking dapper for my special day. Every, (and I mean every) guest asked after the suits. It really is a wonderful piece of clothing down to the very last detail, to the extent that I feel sad for the reviewers on here to think otherwise, I really do. I'd thoroughly recommend this company to any friend and both my best man and I will be going back for further items regardless of the minor following gripe. Cons: My only gripe is sometimes the 'admin' side of VV was lacking. I had to chase certain items, chase delivery times and 'add ons' such as their new tie products. This is a minor grip, primerilly due of the standard of the end product making up for it. VV staff I've encountered are both extremely talented tailors and personal shoppers, I believe they know their dress wear, customer base market. Unfortunately I think some admin skills are yet to be refined. I hope that this will soon match the standard of their product. It's a new branch and venture of this company, just about to move into a busy high street from a office location. I believe that they deserve the break, marketplace and recognition they're after. They are passionate about their product, this was obvious from the off, a rough diamond at present which will no doubt (I hope) become as polished as my suit. As mentioned, I'd go back, and I'd recommend to anyone (and have done after numerous enquiries at the wedding), with my observations. Amazing quality for an amazing price. VV, please please sort the admin side out, then you're onto a complete winner. Thank you for making my day as special as it was, totally worth it. D

Victor Valentine is the place where you can get some class leading modern suits & clothing which have taken heavy influence from classic styles of the past. Quality is excellent. I have bought one from there, prices are also competitive.

I went to see Victor Valentine a few weeks ago after arranging an appointment. Although I was in a bit of a rush in terms of turn around, they managed to fit me in and I saw an advisor at their premises. The service there was excellent. He talked me through all they different materials and finishes, helped me try on the various sizes to ensure the best fit. Once I had selected the suit, he helped advise on what ties, shirts etc would go best with it and got the order processed. He also ensured that I would have the suit before I needed it, which was shorter then their usual turn around time. The suit arrived a couple of days before the wedding I was attending and it was perfect. It fitted perfectly, and looks amazing. The quality of the material and fitting is amazing, and I would definitely advise anyone looking for a tweed suit to look at Victor Valentine before anyone else!

I bought the 'Prince of Wales' check suit for myself and my best-man, for my wedding a few weeks ago. Delivery was on the nose as quoted,and the suits looked better than they did on the website. Great quality and something that both is both stylish and a little different from the norm. Our wedding band's singer even commented on the suits being the sharpest she has seen this wedding season! My best-man had a small issue with his footballers type thighs, but he was quick and helpful in sorting out a replacement pair of trousers for him which were of a more suitable girth. All round excellent suits and excellent service.
