Launtop LDG 12 Generator

i bought this genny in feb 13 the diesel filter mounting bracket is flimsy and keeps cracking and dropping filter so i made a sturdy bracket and no more problem. after 60 hours the capacitor failed causing power fluctuation at no load only 180 volts when loaded it went up to 240 . fitted new long life capacitor from generator guru and that solved that problem . at 100 hours it has packed up making electricity i have had it checked out by a generator repair shop and they said the alternator is u/s and needs a rewind . i have tried local rewind firms but nobody wants to do it as its chinese. i have sent 3 emails to launtop contact address over last two weeks but had no reply. to sum up this genny has done 100 hrs in 2 years exactly and now is scrap . i am mad about this as the genny was right power size and wieght for what i wanted . but a dear lesson learned dont buy cheap chinese generators
